I loved going to Thailand every year but haven’t bothered since the covid bullshit we all went through , from what I’ve seen recently it’s not so cheap anymore for everything the adult male needs and the ex rate is shite , thinking of trying South America this year for a new adventure...👍 Nice first vid... 👍
I've not taken large luggage bags to Thailand, Philippines etc for 20+years. 7.5KG of hand luggage and just get it laundered every 7-10 days. That way I don't have to worry about lost luggage or wasting time at the carousel. Whilst you're at the carousel, I'm in a cab or on a bus to my destination. I think it definitely saves up to an hour on travel time and my last 3 trips they've not even asked to weigh my hand luggage, which was dead lucky, as on my return to the UK i bet it was nearer 15 KG😂😂
Too true pal. Xmas time '22 I was in the Khaosan Road area for the first time in 7+ years and what was once a very inexpensive existence (priced for backpackers) had trebled in cost. I was totally flabbergasted and was back in my room for 10:15pm. Terrible music was blaring out of many of the bars, which has convinced me to never return after 10 previous visits.
Uk wasnt like it was 30 yrs ago.truly english traditions but now already polluted by outsiders european n american cultures. I used to study there before and recently visited in 2023 n found not so pleasant with the country.
