I like to joke and kid around a lot, but yes me no afraid anything anymore unless I walk in central park and a grizzly bear attacks me, it just takes awhile for me to recover and the angels will not let me die anyway, they know who I really am. Agree, but I wish she would say His name, either God, Jesus, El Shaddai, or Adonai, God spoke His name all the time and it was written enumerable times in the Bible. He wanted us to know Him and Satan runnns away as fast as He can whenever he hears any of God's or Jesus/Yeshua's names : )
Linda - Live, she often tells the story of John 8 before this song, which inspired this song. A woman is accused of adultery and the Pharisees want Jesus to stone the woman, but Jesus answers them by saying those without sin cast the first stone. As the accusers then leave, Jesus tells the woman that she is not condemned by Him, and to go and sin no more. Laura’s testimony as she tells this story is so strong and moving and meets modern people where they are, just as Jesus did with the woman. I know sometimes CCM artists don’t always use Gods name in lyrics, but believe me - they encourage especially curious non believers to dig deeper and explore and meet God. This one did it for me.
