  • I go on all types of adventures around North America chasing dirt...This time I drive to Whistler and a small town outside called Pemberton BC.
Here is where I test out the 850 for the first time, and talk a bit about the dozer from inside the cab. More 850L videos coming soon.

Scott. Have you anywhere discussed the pros/cons of equivalent models across the manufacturers?

Deere has been perfecting the hydrostatic dozer for a long time! When I was a kid my Dad let me run a D8K pushing on a fill. We later tried a JD 750. That was in 1978! Being able to counter rotate and push corners under power was big news back then.

You need to MOVE the camera either outside OR up close to the front windshield ! The GLARE from the windshield blocks a clear view of the 'Dozing' you're doing and all we can see is the side of your HEAD !

I see all the electronics and it more things to go wrong.
I want to pull a lever connected to a rod and know it will work rather than push a button and hope it works.
I'll run my D8H all day long rather than any of the new dozers. I don't like the hydrostatic dozers.

Sure been nice to got some outside shots of Dozer working instead of you constantly yelping keeping camera inside.. guess you like to hear your self talk and keep camera on yourself instead of the machine which I’m sure is what everyone else was hoping to see was what the dozer could do.. oh well guess you could say you got your 15 minutes of fame!.. smh!

Hey pushy I do understand why some operators and your self use the word ran/run equipments, you operate equipments . It sounds unprofessional knowing you and other skillful operators #justsaying

It's probably that stupid flat brim hat he wears that helps him "run" it
