In my opinion, idols are free to live their own lives. Their fans have no right to tell them how they should live. So when a normal guy saved a girl, he didn't know she was an idol and she started to live with him but now he had a new problem: he has 2 girls falling in love with him and now he can't choose between the 2 of them. Also, Kanae's manager is a terrible woman for thinking that having Kanae's heart broken will make her more famous but I think she's only saying that just to make more money

That’s not how it works. You don’t get an opinion on what you think Japanese Idols should or shouldn’t do. They’re all under contracts.
Idols have celibacy contract because of the reasoning for their jobs. An idol is a means of escapism, where the fan willingly partakes in a parasocial relationship, offering support in exchange for receiving kindness and support. The fan is then able to escape the drab reality of long hours at work and lack of companionship by imagining for a brief moment in the fantasy that the song is sung about them.
However, that illusion is broken if the fan knows that the idol has a girlfriend. (Same thing for males, but I think there's another term that idol) Fans aren't dumb though, they just rather not know their idol is in a relationship than outright prevent them from being human. In that case, it is less about how fans tell idols to live their life, and more about knowing your target market and what won't sell...
Cause a soap opera star using the same acting skills in a drama will only result in a comedy.

Meanwhile Keiichi and Kanae live happily ever after.
And with help from Kanae, Noa finds someone new who Kanae promises will never mistreat her. Thus Noa also gets a happy ending.

The more of these i watch the more i wonder just how messed up the japanese idol industry is. Depriving people of relationships so they appear obtainable by simp...i mean fans is kinda gross. Ive seen a lot of stories about stalkers and such and like oshi no ko anime allegidly being roughly based off a real life story in episode 1. Its just depresing watching the depravity.
