My Top 10 Favorite Drummers

I’ve been a drummer for almost 20 years, and these are my top 10 favorite drummers to listen to! Who are YOUR favorite drummers?

All my fav drummers are metal drummers. Kai Hahto is #1 with a background in Jazz so he improvises quite beautifully. Also, Spencer Prewett, Andrew Baird, both Mike’s from Dream Theater and Alex Rudinger to name a few.
I love The Rev too and he actually helped inspire me to start drumming

I’ll have to look up a few of these drummers but yes both Mikes are great and The Rev was great as well!

Great list! Especially like the inclusion of Steve Gadd in the top 3. Also, I agree with your ranking of Neil Peart despite what my friends say :)
Here are my Top 3:
1. Carter Beauford (Dave Matthews Band)
2. Phil Collins (Genesis, Brand X, Solo)
3. Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, The Pineapple Thief, King Crimson)

I love Gavin Harrison too, the stuff he’s done with Pineapple Thief is great! Carter Beaufort is great too! Phil Collins is great, but still think of him more as a singer lol
