when you start to recognise all Hindi songs it means that it's high time u check out other languages as well.
The song after "Aye Udi Udi" from movie Saathiya, "Kadhal Sadugudu" is the original rendition of that song, the movie Saathiya was the Bollywood remake of Tamil movie Alaipayuthey. The songs for both the movies were composed by A.R. Rahman so both the songs in Hindi and Tamil have separate identity though similar. You should check out the songs from both the movies it is a must.

You should do a video where you check out original songs & their hindi counterparts. Many A.R Rahman tamil compositions are remade in bollywood including your favourite Zara Zara.

So a lot of "Bollywood hits" you guys react to are actually originally Tamil songs from A.R Rahman translated into Hindi. You should listen to A.R Rahman's early songs in the original Tamil version (since the composition fits Tamil perfectly )

Languages in India are many but the population of speakers are huge. For example Tamil language seems regional but the Tamil speakers in India is 80 million and all around the world 100 million which is almost half of Brazil population. And for Telugu just in India 100 million speakers are there. So it's like multiple huge nations in one country.

After Hindi, Telugu and Tamil songs are popular in India if you want to experience real Indian music you should checkout Telugu and Tamil songs more.
I don't understand a word but I prefer the Tamil version 'nila kaigiarathu' over the Hindi version 'khili chandni' of the same song.
I also love the Telugu 'Kanna nidurinchara' more than the Hindi or Tamil versions.
Different languages just enhance the beauty of certain lyrics and melodies.
Some songs sound better in original language only even if we don't understand tye language.

Talking about mashups, you must check out 2021 year end mashup by Sush And Yuhan!! It's so crisp and banging... the creative adjustments are amazing. Approximately 130 songs fit in the 12/13 minute video and they mingle together too harmoniously to be separate. You need to check them out. Their other works are good too, but this is a must.
