Yercaud is approximately 250 kilometers from Bangalore, 30 kilometers from Salem, and takes 6 hours to reach from Bangalore. From Bangalore to Salem, take NH 44 and 48 through Hosur, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Salem, and then SH 188 to Yercaud. One way Tolls cost approximately 340 Rupees.
We started Bangalore around 7.30 a.m. and stopped at Krishnagiri A2B at 9 a.m. We had breakfast there and continued to Yercaud, reached at 1.30 p.m. There are 20 hairpin bends. The roads are well-maintained, and the drive is pleasant. A wonderful area to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Yercaud is an amazing destination to visit.
