"Vermont Art Event - Working with Acrylic Inks."
Welcome back to another BobBlast!
I am delighted to be a part of the Vermont Art Event again this year! I am teaching four different workshops, all featuring the new Holbein Acrylic Inks and applicators, as well as my favorite paint - Holbein's Artist Acrylic.
This Event is coming right up, so act quickly! July 29-August 2 in South Burlington, Vermont.
My classes are:
Wednesday 7/31 - Fun with Holbein Acrylic Ink (C556)
8:30am -3:30pm
Thursday 8/1 - Abstract Florals from Loose Colorful Splatters (D268)
12:30-3:30pm
Thursday 8/1 - Quick Abstract Landscapes (D243)
4:30-7:30pm
Friday 8/2 - Exploring Abstracts with Holbein Acrylic Ink (E557)
8:30-11:30am
The following two videos from previous BobBlasts will show you the type of techniques we will be working with in the workshops - Drawing, painting and exploring the ends and outs of the new acrylic inks + loosen up techniques from my studio, using florals and landscapes.
The cool thing about coming to the Vermont Art Event - All materials are supplied!
All you have to bring to my workshops are your favorite brushes!
Come and Paint with me - I will see you in Vermont!
Thanks again for watching and telling your friends! All my BobBlasts are archieved on my website and my CZcams Channel. We post new studio tips weekly that offer real content, substance and useful techniques that work for me. And they're free! We appreciate your interest, questions, comments and support!
I keep watching your videos over and over. I'm addicted. But I know you would tell me to paint!!! lol
Always when I’ve got the painters block I see one of your vids and get back the inspiration.
Always enjoy your videos Bob
you are so much fun to watch!
Thank you so much for sharing how you use Holbein's Inks and the ink cartridges. ❤
You are Welcome!
Your a blast to watch as usual Bob. Miss seeing you at Sylvia’s!
Thanks Bob 😊
It's more fun to watch you paint, Bob, than anybody else I've watched.
wow!
Very good and informative
Thanks!
What a lovely man is Bob. Bless you 🙏
You’re verbal ooooo’s and ahhhh’s are hilarious. Best attitude ever, I am a fan 🙂
Nice! Thanks for being able to talk while demonstrating. I know how hard that is but you make it look easy. Also, your color wheel and instructional books that I purchased through your website, have helped me become a much better artist. Thanks so much!
Love it! You are such an inspiration! Thank you for reminding me of all the things I forgot from art class!
What a hoot! I had a bunch of leftover paint and just slapped them on a couple of 8x8 canvas panels. They ended up looking like your warm ups! Thanks for the "exercise"!
Your a blast... Bob 😃😃👍
Just love your work. Big fan

Great stuff Bob. Thanks great to see you Best Wishes
OMG I just cracked up at "make sure the dominant color is, in fact, dominant"
I love the weekly Bob Blasts ~ thank you
Thank you, Bob :)
Wonderful tanks for charing
The one on the right would make a pretty good painting beginnning!
Thank you ☺️
Mr. Burridge, It´s been a pleasure to watch your adventures on board! By the way, which kind of support/ board do you usually use? wooden or canvas?
Ok, I'm IN!! :D)
❤️
You are so savage with the colors, but there is so much technique on your paint at the same time ! How ?
I cant help but wonder what would happen if you tryed to thin a heavy body paint with acrylic inks
Something else to explore! Have to ask, have you ever painted with alcohol based inks? I think you might lose your mind if you do!
what about using inktense? tnx , Bob
Do that ink smell ?
It is acrylic. I suppose it gives off a scent of some kind. I have not noticed.
hello from France a good 'je ne sais quoi'
