All good, but the quality of what one reads is going to effect the child as much as the act of reading, so I am curious as to why that is not mentioned. Teaching these kids to read the New King James Version of the Holy Bible is where I would begin, but there you would have a war on your hands, because teaching truth is not mentioned either, but I would bet that all kinds of fiction is allowed. Those kids may have better relationships and happier lives than we do with all of our technology, and I know that some academics wonder the same thing.
