- Four colours, controlled by marbles, battle for control of a 1000x1000 pixel grid.
Marbles start at number 1, and multiply in value when they enter the corresponding green triggers. If they enter the red triggers, their number will reset to 1, and the number that was reached will be launched as either a burst attack or a charged shot.
Burst attack will fire shots equal to the number reached, up to several hundred or thousand shots per second depending on the number of shots still be to launched. Any subsequent burst attacks will increase the number of shots remaining. Each shot will convert one territory pixel to the player's colour.
A charged shot will combine the full number into one large shot, which will convert territory pixels equal to its number.
The charge can also be used to replenish the player's shield. The shield blocks any incoming shots, and takes damage equal to the shot strength.
New in this version:
- Trigger spaces adjusted a bit further
- New trigger for 16x added
- Every minute that passes since a marble has last triggered will reduce its size, so it will eventually fall through any gap

Rules
Revival
One minute after dying, a player is able to revive if a shot with size 1M+ touches it.
1% of charge will be used to create a shield.
10% of charge will be used to refill ammo.
It will spawn up to 2 + 1 marbles for every 3 minutes of game time, the first costing 1M charge, the next double, etc.
Shields
When damaged, both the shield and the shot take an equal amount of damage, calculated as follows.
If the shot has more charge than the shield, the damage is 75% of the shield charge + 250.
If the shield has more charge, damage is 75% of the shot charge + 250.
If the shot's charge is less than 1000, the damage is equal to the shot charge.
If the shot has over 5 times as much charge as the shield, the damage is equal to the shield's charge (fully destroys the shield).
The blocked shot will bounce off unless if the shot charge is 100 times greater than the shield, in which case the shot will lose 99.9% of its velocity.
Shooting Rate
Base shooting rate increases logarithmically according to ammo left.
If the cannon is shooting at an enemy shot, it can additionally fire a small percentage of the shot's charge.
For every minute that the cannon has been firing continuously, the fire rate will increase.

The revive mechanic in this game actually made the game so much more dynamic. Love the new idea

Oh and the music in the finale, it sounds eerie but in my opinion is the "Ballad of the Burning Billion"
The x16 Multiplier gave me an idea: Maybe you could implement an increasing startingnumber - for example every 5 minutes you multiply it by 2 so at the end of this video it would have been 32. It wouldnt be a big change but it would speed up getting bigger marbles over time. That way it gets more likely later on that bigger marbles get created - and lets be fair were all here for the big balls xD
I've been specifically avoiding this for this series because it's a bit "cheap", but I think it's about time I do so!
Maybe I could change the x16 into a permanent starting x2 for that marble, which also soft-limits how high it can go due to the positioning only really allowing small marbles to reach it.

@@bengel23 no it's just the starting number, instead of 1 it'd be 2 then 4 then 8, nothing else would change

I really like the new features in this video especially the fact that one a color dies then there’s a countdown from 60 showing when they can get revived.

Idea: if the base get a hit, only one marble spawned, the one with the biggest number of the color. And as a disadvantage the color plays without this spawned marble
Example: red has 5 marbles on the left and get hit -> the biggest color get spawned -> red plays in future only with 4 marbles on the left

Is there a reason the calls on the lower level are so close together to prevent large marbles from being emitted? It doesn't feel right having a team put so much time into getting a giant marble just to have it get stuck because it's too large.
Initially it was just the grid snap spacing, but I've come to like it as a tradeoff for having a big marble

At 13:20, seeing a 1k marble not allowed to slip through the x8 feels unfair (btw that x16 is an incredibly great idea !). Getting rid of the obstacle and making the slot smaller should avoid this situation. We could then have enough space for a x4 or x8 (yeah that's very similar to what we had before the massive changes...)
Edit : after reading other comments i have some potential ideas for the x16 and how to speed up things without increase in initial values.
1) Vaccum power to catch nearby weak colored marbles.
2) Making it x32 (or more) and have a small slot for x16 alongside regular multipliers.
3) Have the x16 become a x32 when a marble goes through and becoming a x16 again when another marble enters, etc.

Very low, but it's possible now with the size reduction on marbles.
Would probably take about an hour too, since every additional size would need more time spent to get size reduction

Due to the high sizes required I needed to increase the chance of multiplying, but that also increases the chance of crazy numbers like 1T, so this way I can get to reasonable numbers faster (10k-100k)

Kinda sad that ridiculous millions to billions shots are only allowed to spawn as normal ball, jetball and gravitationalball. I would like to see once a 1 billion shotgun shot annihilating everything and everyone in 5 seconds spawnkilling the entire board.
Keep up putting 1 billion in the thumbnail 122 mil feels like meh.
