It was most likely caused by an acoustic switch fault.

Well, these are actually, in certain cases, better than aluminium horns. In terms of material quality tho, there's no doubt that aluminium horns are way more durable.
@@CzechSirenTech the horns are okay. I have a "company" and a "brand". In the company, we have 2 art 315 speakers. (Rcf art 315A mkii) they sound kind of horrible.
Well the RCF H 4827 the UEAJs use do a good job. Of course, It's also about the drivers, and other hardware you use, but there were never any complains about the sound from these. Downside is, like I said, the plastic can get damaged pretty fast, and the loudspeakers are therefore more prone to wear due to weather conditions.

Why did it stop during the windup?
The accumulators didn't hold enough charge for the wind up, so the siren automatically stopped and then resumed once they got charged.
Gee… This Might Need A New Control Box or either replaced with a Different Siren
Not necessarily a whole brand new unit, just one or a few components in it may need maintenance

Low battery voltage can do pretty unpleasant things ^^
