The best live vocal performance of LAP, this and the one at Live Aid in 2005. She's using her range to the best of its ability in this performance. I'm totally loving the high notes. I can't get over how much weight donna de lorry he other backup girl lost. this is the best I have heard her sound. although she is not hitting the choreography as hard as blond ambition and her ladies are not front center. still good though

that was a disaster I will agree, I am not a fan of her recent stuff to be honest (mainly just this song and material girl and that era of songs) . Eurovision was a disaster because they decided she should walk down steps, sing live and dance all at once. Thats not easy at 60, to help her they turned the autotune to the maximum level. I heard a vocal coach say they are convinced it was set to the original key but she was singing several semi tones lower than the original song and the track was lowered or it was simply turned up too sensitively and her slighter waviering maybe ever so slightly flat vocals threw it off and it couldn't correct it. Therefore it was correcting her voice to the wrong notes and there was something wrong with the settings they were using on the pitch correction and vocal effects. Frankly they'd have been best to whack the echo and reverb on and leave it and it probably wouldn't have been that noticeably off key and they should have had her stand and sing and not dance too as its not an easy song at the best of times. I think it was an unfortunate situation.
