This video is a Cart PvP tutorial applicable for players of all skill levels. The video has been divided into the following chapters:

The kit featured in this tutorial is highly recommended for practice servers like play.pvplegacy.net. Feel free to customize it to your preferences. While advanced players often opt for two stacks of pearls in their kit, one stack typically suffices for non-drain duels. For beginners, I would recommend starting off by playing full Prot 4 and only switching to Blast Prot leggings when able to insta consistently.
The 'Cart Tech Speedrun' segment is an up-to-date showcase of almost all the carting methods discovered thus far. To maintain brevity, I've omitted methods that combine multiple strategies, such as pearl block cart.
The pure vanilla practice map is meticulously designed for Cart PvP, but it could also be used to practice other PvP game modes, featuring multiple arenas ranging from flat netherite box to intricately realistic terrain. Additionally, the map offers customizable stacked-totem-offhanding zombies as well as a ton of convenient quality-of-life features, such as [/setblock 1 1 1 dirt] to load kit 1 remotely.
The final 'Extras' section includes all the useful/interesting info that hasn't been covered in previous segments.
This guide hasn't touched the topic of playstyle, because there isn't just one correct way to play cart.

well if anyone is reading this comment here's how a pearl cart works:
throw pearl > charge up your bow > pearl lands > release your bow > place rail and cart
Objective is to make the insta as fast as possible by charging the bow before the pearl lands to save the bow charge time of the insta

There is so much stuff here that is insane, u really did cover just about anything (the only thing I could think to add is when u overload cart at 3:44 u can shoot the cart that flies up for a ton of extra damage)

This is very cool, but is there an advantage to this over End Crystals? Is it just a server rule, or a preference or something? If so that makes sense. It obviously looks more fun and skill based.
Crystals are better 99% of the time. Cart PvP is only useful in situations where crystal and anchors (and beds) aren't available.

Default binds with 7, 8, and 9 as side mouse buttons and drop item button rebinded to "t".

What keybinds do you use m8? In still stuck using mousebuttons and it's slow af.
I have my drop item button changed to 't', and I have hotbar slots 7, 8, and 9 as well as f5 on my mouse, the rest of my binds are untouched. (may not be the most optimal binds but they feel handy and straightforward to use)
That was before TheZhuhura became a god
Cart PvP would be fun if the minecart ACTUALLY exploded (instead of lighting up on fire) and it would be nice if my insta-cart skills didn’t just disappear after taking a 30min break :/

whats the difference between a cheat cart and a normal insta cart? like what difference does 1 rail make
cheat cart is an easier version of insta cart. When cheat carting, your rail slot gets emptied once you place the rail, which allows you to use your offhand cart right after instead of having to hotkey to your cart slot.

what about shield? is it any good? when would u use it?
In most cases you are better off blocking carts with blocks as shields have a .25 second delay before activated and most cart pvpers are able to insta. Shields' benefits would be that you can block carts that are placed right next to you or in your hitbox which would otherwise be tricky to block with blocks. Shields could also be used to block sword hits and a lot of cart pvpers don't have an axe in their hotbar. Overal shields are pretty decent in cart but most players would consider it an annoying play style similar to how shields are treated in crystal pvp.

@@frogedownbad Click on Extract All and open the extracted folder to locate the world folder, then drag that world folder to your saves folder (in your Minecraft folder).

play.pvplegacy.net versus 14 is a decent place to play carts against randoms, there's also a relatively new NA server 'cartcentral.net' designed for cart pvp with a lot of good players in it

@@boberdbecause v14 is the only lobby that legacy has updated (for now). Playing on the newest version has a lot of benefits to cart, mainly being 60% explosion kb reduction for blast prot 4, shapeless crafting for carts, cart dropping the item itself when broken, and shields that can block explosions

As long as it's below around 150 ping it's still playable, but your carts would be slower. If you are playing prot you can abuse your ping to charge your carts to make one-shotting players easier.

400 ping is pretty much unplayable for any PvP game mode. You might wanna play on another server close to where you live, as well as get better internet if possible

yooo key binds?
I use default keybinds with 7-9 on my side mouse buttons and 't' for drop item, I would recommend using '1' for rail and '2' for cart.

my settings aren't all that special. I use 90 fov, default keybinds except for slot 7-9 which I have as side mouse buttons and
my drop item button which I switched to 't', other than that I just use optifine for mods, probably gonna try out more mods in the future.

Unlike game modes like sword and UHC, you won't really need training in cart as you can practice almost everything you need in a PVE environment (my practice map is the first link in the description).

atleast their skills can be applied to useful gamemodes but the rest aren't useless at all
pot has loka and hcf servers
nethpot has zotticraft and a bunch of other survival servers especially spanish ones
uhc has uhcs
crystal has v+, purity, classic, simply, uneasy, fts, and a bunch of other survival servers
and smp has smps
what does cart have? at most it has afew content creator smps (everybody is in prot pants and one cart) and box servers (which isn't the gamemode you play)
