    Yes of course I agree , it is very complex challenge to understand World Marine environment for Marine Lawyer who doesn't have any marine background. Just study law is not enough , my recommendation is that this career is better for those mariners worked few years in different country in the marine industry /on board ship, they may be in a place to understand it better and if they pursue further carrier in marine law. B'coz you can only see and hear what is going on in the law of court , but unable to understand as it is so vast like a ocean , not that easy to understand and implementation of marine law is a completely different dimension. No such reputed law firm exist in India. Mostly from London, USA, Germany and Hague etc. I believe India has no jurisdiction on it. I can explain about the arrest what real ground I handled.

    What are the scopes and satrting earnings for an llm in maritime law (india), and does an indian degree holders have any opportunity outside india or only European and singapore degree holders are appriciated?

    I have interned with VJ Mathews and company, it's easier to apply over there, one just need to fill in the form on their website and the response is also very quick.
    of course, there is a lot of exposure one can get in VJ Mathews.

      Very much....but u need both llb and LLM .so it is a long process

      Sir actually I have also b.s.c shipbuilding from Indian maritime University & then llb from Rajasthan University & is iam also required to do LLM in maritime law
