The data deluge on the Internet of Things is making it challenging for existing cloud-based centralized IoT systems to draw actionable insights in near-real-time though it is critical for businesses to gain a competitive edge. No, edge is a lighter one where the data processed at the Edge of the node, where as fog computing process the data at the core of the network device. Also the granularity increases from Edge
