Hi Friends, I am Anshul Tiwari, and welcome to your youtube channel "IT k Funde" where we make I.T. interesting for everyone (Tech or No-Tech).
More about this video -
In this video, we will understand one of the fastest emerging technology in cloud computing space that's Edge Computing.
With the advent of IoT (internet of things) and 5G technology, edge computing is quickly picking up demand. With the data being hosted on the edge, computing challenges like latency and processing are being tackled in much more efficiently.
Looking at the trend, in the next 10 years, edge computing, IoT and 5G will be at the forefront of all new innovations in the tech industry.
So in this video, let us try to find answers of some burning questions -
1 -What is edge computing (with a real-life example)
2- Why edge computing is in demand?
3- How Edge computing works on a high level?
4- Which industries are using edge computing?
5- Will edge computing replace cloud computing in the future?
I hope after this video you would know enough to start your own journey in exploring edge computing, IoT, and 5G technologies in greater detail.

Never stop making these videos. I can see enormous potential in this channel. :)
Thank you IT K Funde. You simplify each concept you handle. Never stop!
Thanks for making videos on the latest technologies. I would love it if the frequency of videos can be increased. Love your precise and crisp videos.
Interesting!! Thanks Anshul!
Bhai your videos are awesome. Thanks for making such amazing videos.
Thanks for sharing valuable information
Thank you so much for such a precise explanation and clearing the confusion I had on this topic.
Thank you for sharing insights 💯
Thanks a lot for your clear explanation...
Great video! Very helpful!
What a simple and effective explanation
You must be that "indian guy on youtube" because you just made it easy to understand. Thank you sir,
Great content, thank you!
This man is doing fentastic job.
Very well explained. thanks
Can you do videos on storage, servers, networks, ,security, VM etc please. I find these so understandable its brilliant , thankyou
Good straightforward explanation. Thanks!
Good work! Not an IT person but I understood some useful basics!
Thanks for simple explanation
very nice video
Awesome explanation, thanks.
Thank you sir...This video is very helpful for my seminar...🙏🏻
very well explained
if simply says..edge is acting as a mediation buffer between IoT and big cloud for increasing fetching speed and processing speed of the query generating from the peer IoT device... But Threat is also very high in Edge
very nice explanation
Thank you. I learn a lot.
Thank you...sir..:)
Thank you so much!!!!
Thanks for the wonderful video! i had a small doubt ..is the edge gateway server also know as a Fog computing device?
Excellent 👌
Thanks Twinks ❤️
Clearly explained thank u sir
thanks
Thankyou so much for.the clear explanation sir
Thanks Anu
Very nice 👌👌 concepts
Thanks Shobhit :)
👌👌👌
Excellent explanation of the concept which gave a greater insight on topic and discretion towards picking differences between the cloud computing and edge computing
Thank you for the explanation which I could use in my answer writing
thanks Deepak
What are pre-requisities for the edge computing sir
Break ke Baad - ek strong punch
🤘
Thanks Vijay ☺️
@@ITkFunde no sir🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼thanks to you for ur efforts 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Hello sir,
please make a video on 'HOW INTERNET WORKS' , 'How are we able to search on Google' or 'How are we able to stream CZcams videos'
Hi @itkefunde, Can we call CDN is a example of Edge Computing?
Nice video i got good understanding. One doubt sir, Can i treat the Edge Gateway Server which sits near to me is replica of Cloud ? ( I mean it contains complete copy + same capacity to take decisions) ?
where data processing is happening in edge client or edge gateway server?
You're one of the best!
❤️😊🙏
Please explain about pfsence firewall
Thank you for such a clear overview. Much appreciated.
Thanks for the review I'll love to introduce you to something big feel free to text me for me enlightenment📥𝟷𝟿𝟸𝟶𝟼𝟾𝟿𝟹𝟸𝟿𝟻
❤❤❤
Is CDN ( content delivery network ) and example of edge computing
thank you
thanks
Keep going and please never stop
Thanks Areeb thats the only prayer and wish 🙏
It says fundraiser but no where I can find the option to give any funds. Is it not available for Indians?
Thanks for valuable content on EC, however how one can learn or need to make as career in Edge Computing, who are eligible to learn as in technical background, future, demand in the market
Let me try to make a video on this
what should I know to make a career in edge computing ?
Well explained!
Would be good if you can Briefly explain the jargons like IoT, so everyone understands the nuances upon which the higher concept is built, right in the same video itself.
Thanks Ayananta for feedback and suggestion 🙏
@@ITkFunde know
Little confused over the fact that 5G is high speed (low latency) network and still we need edge servers. Are edge servers like big size disk where lot of data can be accumated and later can be pushed to clouds? Shouldn't the IoT device itself be considered as part of edge computing so that the device can compute/take decision even when there is no internet?
Want to learn if both the above or just one of the above is edge computing?
Physical distance from the cloud server will always be an issue because it increases latency. Edge computing over comes this problem by being physically closer to the device.
Imagine 5G is like a new and improved engine for semi-trucks so that drivers can transport goods much faster over long distances. However, you don't want to just rely on a fast engine to get from point A to B; ideally you want to shorten that distance. Enter "edge computing" which would be like creating a factory that produces goods much closer to your target destination; then your truck drivers only have to travel a much shorter distance.
Please give us a walkthrough on terraform .
Thanks Namitha for suggestion 👍
Processing the data locally rather than sending it to a centralised data processing location
I am little confused here. What exactly is the "Edge device or Edge client". Is that a piece of hardware that is installed on the let's say IoT devices for Processing or storage or is the "Edge device or Edge client" an intelligent software that enables let's say the autonomous car to process data using the CPU inside the autonomous car. Some one please explain
Yes you are correct
is Edge computing still trending software and future having jobs..?
Thank you for this valuable information. Would you please make a video for switching technology towards Cloud and which cloud one should learn. I am s 10+ years exp PeopleSoft professional and want to learn and make a career in Cloud.
Thanks Abhay, if you purely go by cloud adoption Aws , Azure and then GCP. But every cloud has its good or bad.
thankyou for saving my a**
So basically an extra layer of caching
In a very layman terms yes 👍
Please, edit the video properly. Rest all is good.
Every 8 word out of 10 is "particular"
Thanks for your feedback
