It's been 7 years since this was posted but still, I just noticed how much the beginning of the sequence was finessed from 655 Richmond's 2010 drill team...
Congratulations to the 577 Dragonriders Air Cadets! Very proud of you guys! Wow, what a drill routine. I'm hoping my son Ethan will be able to carry on your proud tradition when he's old enough to join the Air Cadets of Grande Prairie.
Can't they halt, do a left turn, then stand at ease? What the hell was going on there? Rest of it was well done, but that part almost made it look like it was done sloppily on purpose.
This is silent drill. Silent drill isn't drill that is completely silent, not to mention it would be impossible with the commonwealth styled drill in the place. Silent drill is just a drill sequence that doesn't include commands from the DTC, AKA precision drill.
Holy fuck that at ease at the beginning was clean.

Amazing, I will bring a sequence like this to my RAFAC squadron, Im sure they can learn a lesson or two from them in this case.
Thug life!
a lot of the people in the drill are still in cadets, for example, the drill instructor is still in cadets
It’s an air cadet drill display?
Umm I’m an air cadet and no one needs that much precision.
That's drill for you, it's a tradition that will live and die with canada
I'm an air cadet from squadron 500 from Outaouais and i think this is awesome!
From a UK army cadet, can anyone explain what they are doing at 1:30?
Precision drill. It’s taking your typical drill and turning it into a 1-of-a-kind routine that at times may alter the original drill stance.
Did the cameraman laugh at 2:30? 😂
Edit: and at 4:20
hahaha noticed that

nobody asked for a flex that hard
this reminds me of the nutcracker toy soldiers

Stand at ease on the march... its not a movement used often....generally used for drill team displays.
Is it in the 201? If so, than its correct
I liked it.
Try silent drill ;)
