Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am a master’s student at Universität Siegen, Germany. It’s been 10 months since I have started living in Germany and finally, I am moving to one of the student’s hostel in September. In this video I will be showing you the way to the hostel and some glimpse of it, this will give an idea about student’s hostel to the prospective students.

Benefits of students hostel:
1. Relatively cheaper than other accommodations: Rent includes Electricity, Internet and other costs.
2. Both furnished and unfurnished options available.
3. Great living environment.
4. Great diversity of students from around the globe.
5. Most of the hostels have various other facilities like Gym, various indoor games.
6. Most of them are near to the campus.

How much long is expected time in waiting list?
If I apply in end of August 2020, Will i get it by March 2021?
Yes, You may get it!
But then again it depends on the number of applications.
Also there are certain factors which you need to consider like till that time where ever you shall be living, there must be a notice period and/or a minimum contract period.
I mean like if you have a notice period of 90 days, you need to inform your landlord accordingly that too before getting your studierendenwerk contract confirmed cuz generally they send vacancies atmost 2 months before the movein date.
And if you have a minimum contract period of let’s say 1 year then you are bound to stay there for 1 year!
@@TheBeardedVlogger I am new Masters student and I will hopefully be arriving Seigen in March/April 2021 and I don't have any previous room contracts that is why.

How much is a student hostel per month? thanks in advance
It depends on the type of room. For me it’s 237€ per month for a 18 sq. m. room, fully furnished which includes electric, heating, gas, Internet bills.

Enes değirmenci For the student dormitory, you need to create an application.
There is a good amount of waiting list, so it’s a bit difficult to get.
For part time jobs, you can find some around the city but it’s limited as it’s a small city else you can find it in another cities like köln and some other and you can travel there for free (video coming soon). 😇
