    This is amazing, and it's so well explained. I was kind of shocked when you talked about the "illusion of detail", it all suddenly made perfect sense to me, to the point of almost seem so obvious.

    I use this A LOT in wildlife photography. I have also used the pin light layer style with great success but only for specific applications

    I use this all the time…but write it as an action. That action picks High Pass, makes a Black Layer Mask- and then automatically selects a White 30% Soft Brush (that I made and added to the Brush Preset list.)

    which agency or studios did you start freelancing for? I'm a finisher too and know almost all of them. Question though, aren't you making enough CZcams money to not have to work for someone else? Great tips though!
