In this video I tried to show you all of the famous movie/cartoon (sometimes TV series) references that I have managed to find in The Simpsons as their tribute to cinema.
В этом видео я попытался показать вам все отсылки на известные фильмы и мультфильмы (иногда и на сериалы), которые мне удалось найти в Симпсонах, как их дань уважение кинематографу.

Hey I love the work you do, I was seeing what you can do with the Boondocks
I cannot imagine the hours of footage you have to go through to edit these clips together. Serious hats off, great work!
Oh, literally spent a lot of time doing this video & thank you, i appreciate this)))
At 4:20, it's actually from A Few Good Men.
I wondered how it can be the Widowmaker, since the Season 9 is '97 - '98 made..
4:22 season 9 was released in 1999 so it can't be a reference to something from 2002
Bluefire397
The simpsons are known for predicting things so maybe it is
Ever heard of future time lapse or future echo something happend be4 u see it
I was about to write the same
I think it might actually be a reference to A Few Good Men
@@cantthinkofagoodnameforthi1645 nonono we arent discussing that crap here
Just got done watching the whole series of these. I thought I was a decent movie buff but I probably didn't recognize a third of the references. Wow, you are on a whole different level! I would guess that outside of locking all the Simpsons writers ever in a room for a week, no one else on the planet could put together such an exhaustive compilation. Amazing job!
thank you very much)))
4:57 I really love how they drawn Humprey Bogart's facial expression... xD
All the references are spot on!. These videos are awesome, i hope to see more of them.
Well, that really had to be a hell of a job but the result is definitely worth it. Thanks for the upload!
Simpson Tide came before K-19: The Widowmaker. LOL
1:57 Looney Tunes
2:20 It’s a Wonderful Life
4:03 Planet of the Apes
Nice work but at 4:26 you reference K19-The Widowmaker, this movie was released 5 years after season 9 of The Simpsons.
Súper trabajo de edición!!! Gracias!!!
Please, please carry these on!!!!! They're amazing
оk, thank you))
i hope you make more because i really enjoyed these. good stuff man!
thank you))
sud
2:47 Actualy it is parody for Paint my Wagon. Yep it is real western style musical
Amazing job! Enjoyed very much!
:)))
Finally, part 9
That closing Casablanca sequence also figured in Red Dwarf's 'Camille' episode.
4:19 How it can be if season 9 was released in 1997-1998?
Дур-ДомТВ It think that's Not K-19, it's 'A Few Good Men' when one marine gears up To commit suicide
@Adam Demeter The Simpsons predicted the future.
Amazing how the K`9 Wifowmaker K-19 reference came out before the movie
Thank you, these videos are very informative
you are welcome))
We drove 2000 miles for this???
My favorite movies in part 9. 0:06 Die
Hard franchise (1988, 1990, 1995, 2007 and 2013), 0:23 and 1:16 Ben-Hur (2016
remake), 1:41 and 3:39 Indiana Jones franchise (1981, 1984, 1989, 2008 and
2021), 2:12 Shining with Doctor Sleep (1980 and 2019), 3:36, Shawshank
Redemption (1994), 4:02 Planet of the Apes (2001 remake), 4:18 K-19 the
Widowmaker (2002), 4:28 Crimson Tide (1995).
good job!
0:51-1:00 Cartoon Network 2018/2019 in a nutshell.
1:11 Look Who predicted the future again
Супер!) Наконец

The singing frog is from A Froggy Day, which itself got parodied in Spaceballs in a scene where John Hurt's chest bursts a la Alien.
I meant the singing frog from One Froggy Evening...
Boy , the Simpsons writers sure love them some Ben Hur!
0:51 look at that boi
o hey waddup
"We drove 2000 miles for this" i don't know how they could've driven for 2000 miles from texas to wherever the Simpson live since it's 2700 miles from los Angeles to new york so they are saying they drove almost all the way across the country to get to a football game that had to be alot of twist and turns
They've always done these kind of shenanigans to confuse people. Like how they said West Springdale was three times the size of Alaska but Alaska is the biggest state by landmass.
1:12 DAFUQ?
Chips07 all your feelings are mine
Now that's how you do a crossover.
propane and propane accesories
The WB and frog is also reference to The WB network's banners featuring that character. And it's funny that they say the network has "another bad show that no one will see" because, if I recall correctly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was coming out by the time The Simpsons was running it's ninth season.
наконец-то!
сорян))
Cool
Ben hur is the best reference and besides it's so brilliant
1:15 would also be a Days of Thunder reference with some Ben-Hur
I didn't know that Addams Family shot in 90's was a remake! :O
The Simpsons creator sure loveeeee Ben-Hur
Milhouse is Alfred Molina in indiana Jones, oh.
wow 2 tvpgs combine simp and king hill
The Simpsons are the kings of parody's.
Is the scene from Ben Hur also referenced in Grease?
4:17
How can they be referencing something that came out five years before the episode aired? :s
Sorry, I made a mistake)))
💗💗
👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍👏👍From Argentina 🙋🙋🙋🙋🙋
dank
Goodbye June Foray
Nice work...but what about JEOPARDY?
02:59 se ve el cordón en la película original 😁
1:16 was wrong, srry dude, but that's from Days Of Thunder with Tom Cruise
Smash Bros Season 9
May I ask what program you use to make this?
Sony vegas
There is nothing on episode 15?
You Forgot The Reference In Season 9 Episode 14 , Das Bus That They Used In Das Boot (1981).
You missed tribute to "v for vendetta" in episods 17
Movies/TV shows on here I've seen so far:
Die Hard with a Vengeance, Ben-Hur, Apocalypse Now, One Froggy Evening, King of the Hill, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Whoa Be-Gone, The Shining, A Charlie Brown Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, A Fistful of Dollars, Live & Let Die, Jaws, The Shawshank Redemption, The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show, Planet of the Apes, K-19: The Widowmaker, You Only Live Twice, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Addams Family, and Casablanca.
These want me to buy the dvds
We drove two thousand miles for this?
missing: Paint your Wagon (1969)
It was a movie called "sea of love" the same year than taylor swift born, coincidence, i don't think so.
HAHAAHAHAHAHAHA these are all funny even if you have never sceen the original movies thses are genius
good video, like and sub
thanks)))
0:56 Seeeeeeeee!
No One Will Saaaaaaaay!
There are 2 rocky references not 1
3:11
1:12 Brittany murphy Rest in peace 2009
🐿
2:25 WTF is there a colored version of It's a Wonderful Life???
There is! It was recently released on Blu-Ray and DVD.
4:03 Why would you cut it there!?! You missed the joke!
It's A Wonderful Life 2:20
good artists borrow, great artists steal
4:18 there's a mistake, the scene is from season 9 of 1999 and the movie scene is from 2002. How could it be referece if the movie was not released.
The simpsons really love Goldfinger
And Benn Hur, they used that scene like 5 times
4:18 S09 was made in 1998, how can it be referencing something from 2002
Can you do part 10 of The Simpsons Tribute to Cinema?
yes))
Thank you!
:)
😇
You guys need to work on your chronology of episode air date to film release dates.
ste men
My favourite 3:54
😳😮😦😃
4:12 4:13
1:45 it is actually "holes" not Indiana jones
3:55
What in the world was that rubbery ball?
For the Simpsons: It was used as a weapon to stop anyone who was trying to escape the religious cult they joined.
For the movie: I don't know I haven't seen it
the man Jacob
In the original 'The Prisoner' TV show, the ball was called Rover and was used in a similar way to the ball in the Simpsons episode. It stopped prisoners from escaping, incapacitated people who didn't comply with their instructions, and sometimes killed people.
One mistake in the video...how a 1997 episode tribute a 2002 movie? the widowmaker is a 2002 film and simpson tide a 1997/1998 episode?
Wait...there were colored cameras in the 60s!?
Of course. In fact, most movies were colored by the time the 60s came around. When Alfred Hitchcock decided to make Psycho (which came out in 1960) a black and white movie, the studio was worried nobody would watch it because audiences considered black and white movies to be 'low budget' and 'lazy'.
0:31 what episode is that
The Principal and the Pauper. Largely considered by fans to be one of the worst episodes in the classic era.
@@razzle2429 Not so, it nowadays gets a lot more attention and acceptance.
Did you know Simpsons fans didn't like homers enemy at first either?
4:18 That one does not make sense.
3:31 Saints and sinners
something within us
we are lord of the flies
By: Iron Maiden - X Factor
Blaze Bayley
per un pugno di dollari is a italian movie?
yes)
Onikorp thank very Michele :D
Is television considered "Cinema?" Just wondering.
Is it entertainment?
How did season 9 reference a movie from 2002?
Sorry, I made a mistake.
UNACCEPTABLE. I will have to ask you to please remove the video and correct this atrocity
JacoB
it's from 'A Few Good Man'
1:58 that's wrong. It's not that reference.
In Season 20, Episode 1, there is a reference to "The French Connection" (1971)
i tell you hwat
short village people
