      Exciting, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! You made it just in time before the price hike to $10/month.

    Wyze Really needs to give us an option to where we are not forced to pay for a subscription I want a self-contained self monitoring system that I can monitor not that I have to pay monthly for

      I totally agree! I would love to be able to add some of my own accessories to the system like a hardwired siren.

    Nice Job, no BS or Fluff, thanks.
    One issue/ concern I have is the monitoring . I have been in test mode for a while as I don’t want the authorities called EVERY time a sensor detects activity, and I’ve been struggling a bit with the scheduling rules being reliable.
    Turning off notifications on each device and scheduling them to turn on and off appears to be helping tho.

      Thanks Rory, you may try setting up an alarm delay so the authorities aren’t called right away.

    Agreed, around December to he same happened with me after the most recent hub update I would have to reboot the hub every couple days..this was on wifi it rock solid up til then. Warrantied the hub out and did the same thing after firmware update, only fix was to move to he hub and hook up via Ethernet and it hasn't happened since..alerted wyze, they say nothing else they can do and just update when new firmware comes out. Super happy with noonlight they sent police to the house after my wife didn't disarm in time and I didn't respond to text or call. I have repeatedly requested the feature for notifications be tied to what mode you are in but the request has fallen on deaf ears.

      That’s good to know that even a new hub didn’t fix the issue. I’m hoping they get enough feedback to identify and fix the issue. I’ve sent logs to them from the hub a couple of times. Thanks for the comment!

    Very good video and explanation of this system.

    Do you know if you can manage 2 separate monitoring accounts within the Wyze app?
    For example, I have Wyze cams and monitoring for my business, and I am now thinking of getting cams and motioning for my home since it’s so affordable.
    Am I able to manage both systems on one app? Or would I have to be logged in/out of one to manage the other?

    • @MichaelVance
      @MichaelVance  Před 2 lety

      Hi Rusty, I don’t think you can manage two under the same account in the app. I think you’ll have to use two different account and login and out.

    My father in law has this system and I do not recommend it. It has several false alarms when it shouldn’t have. Does not work at all if power or internet goes down, and is extremely laggy. Sure it’s a cheap alarm, but you definitely get what you pay for.

    • @cjvillarreal217
      @cjvillarreal217 Před 2 lety

      I forgot to mention that if the alarm goes off, you can’t see what triggered the alarm from the app.

    3:22 I’m not sure if you’re going to get to this… but it also has no cell backup so if the power was out, your internet would be out and you couldn’t get authorities dispatched…
    4:01 looks like you did get into it

    Hi fantastic video again I did pre-order the Wyze home monitoring plus extra door Sensors Wyze wouldn’t deliver to the UK 🇬🇧 I ended up sending them to my family address in the US then they were shipped to the UK 🇬🇧 just to let you know the Wyze home monitoring works in the UK even had moonlight ring me to see everything ok the best thing about it when moonlight ring me they think they are talking to me in the US I am in UK 🇬🇧

      @MichaelVance  Před 2 lety

      Thanks Giovanni! It’s been a slow rollout, but I think Wyze will eventually expand into other countries. We’re you able to put in an address for emergency services in the UK?

    i've been looking at getting this particular system because of its price point, one thing I haven't been able to find in reviews is multi-users. could you please reply and let me know about this? To help clarify my question is this example. I'm married so would both my wife and I be able to access all the features and controls from our own phones? Thanks in advance! Great straight forward video!

    • @MichaelVance
      @MichaelVance  Před 2 lety +2

      Hey, thanks Jacob! I didn’t mention that in the video, but it does work now. Currently, your spouse can only arm/disarm the system from their phone. They can’t view security cameras, change the pin/safeword, or anything else like that. I’m guessing that more functionally will be added later, but right now they can just arm and disarm. They won’t get a phone call when the system is triggered.

      @@MichaelVance so it sounds like they have guest access enabled but not multi-owner capability yet.

    Not trying to give you a hard time but the way you deliver the information in the video is bad very monotone delivery it might feel weird but typically have to talk a little more animated than you would in a natural conversation helps keep interested but the video was very informative
