I can’t explain how excited I am to see my own episode. But more importantly I have to say Chuckles is probably one of the coolest enthusiastic builders I have the pleasure of meeting.
It hurts going back to this one. Very happy that Scott is still with us, but man oh man. Ken and Smokey F1 will always hold a special place in my heart 😔
The hoonicorn reminds me of cars in movies, where they just keep on shifting and have like 15 gears, and always somehow have more acceleration in the bank when the bad guy catch's up.

I really enjoy the way Ken describes things. Hardly any acronyms and dumbs it down to where anyone can understand it. I’m a mech engineer and I really appreciate that. That’s an actual skill in my profession and a lot more impressive than throwing weird numbers and letters in the air like you’re making sense.
Finally the red button is revealed and we've been waiting so long thanks Ken. Only thing the series needs is some times and speed on final runs atleast to see the difference from every video

I don’t know what your talking about, the diesel camaro was tuned by professionals so efficiently it could run only using its own exhaust, an automotive marvel.
We need them to not bring out cars meant to run on slicks and force them to run some sponsor's street tires, and let somebody actually have a fair shot.

Transmission by getrag, brakes by wilwood, electronics made by samsung or HP, bearings by NGR, does Ford have a "seam stress" dept making seats for all their cars? Gone are the days when a car company makes all their own parts. Sure they might stamp the body, and weld the frame, they might even cast the engines, but that's about it. Everything else is purchased from suppliers. Ford is just an assembler seller now.

@Mr Rose If this isn't about 'street cred', and purely to demonstrate how fast hoonicorn is, then I'd like to see KB go up against a pro stock drag car even if it means losing. I actually think seeing hoonicorn go up against something so powerful, yet still giving it a run for its money would be a better and more humble way of demonstrating it's abilities than just wiping the track with cars he knows he'll beat.

So this is the race Rob Dahm had been building for. I hope he has it at full chat. He is building his 4-rotor using much of the architecture from Hoonicorn. We shall see!
That’s the real race all of these are kinda pointless but fun to watch but never close form a dig. This one has a massive weight and power disadvantage.
The RS3 was probably close to 1400 with nitrous, and he actually made it competitive but lacked Reaction time off the line, is that kind of thing to be competitive, i think they also had an orange Camaro which was basically a drag car with big slicks, that one could be a good one, all this RWD cars cant touch it.

Just looking for the same effect, not me thinking about turning off the vid once I see the specs cause we all know how bad the hoonicorn is and Ken’s reaction timing is on point. Kinda feel like they’re a little scared to give him some real challenges, maybe they just want to show his mopping skills off, that’s cool to. Hoonicorn is badass and love seeing it race, just want that edge on the seat feeling, and everyone knew that truck was no comparison 🤷♂️ personally I have the feeling like they are playing it safe, I could very well be wrong, again RS3 was a great match up. Contents always fire though 👏
And closer to 3000 lbs. Its all about power to weight. No more 7k lbs trucks with 900hp, we know they won't be competitive. Best comment I have seen so far is the SXSBlog guys wanting to run their 2JZ RZR. Thats in the right power to weight ratio.

The mazda that fell to pieces was the closest built drag car, but it is only a drag car because dude couldnt drive like ken even if he was playing forza. I may have missed some episodes but i didnt see a single drag race car on the show

That audi nearly took him out with 400 less hp ! And the truck here nearly got the roll. Id say this truck woulda had more torque 🤤

The hoonicorn is an epic car for the books. That said, a steel body diesel that keeps up like that is no joke. It would definitely blow the doors off my car. Excellent rides, too both gentlemen!

That’s the real race all of these are kinda pointless but fun to watch but never close form a dig. This one has a massive weight and power disadvantage.

If it was tuned for the 1400 it has, and awd with a faster launch time it be so much better.

The RS3 was probably close to 1400 with nitrous, and he actually made it competitive but lacked Reaction time off the line, is that kind of thing to be competitive, i think they also had an orange Camaro which was basically a drag car with big slicks, that one could be a good one, all this RWD cars cant touch it.
@@402Racing big fan of the RS3, felt like a giddy child when it was race time. Just looking for the same effect, not me thinking about turning off the vid once I see the specs cause we all know how bad the hoonicorn is and Ken’s reaction timing is on point. Kinda feel like they’re a little scared to give him some real challenges, maybe they just want to show his mopping skills off, that’s cool to. Hoonicorn is badass and love seeing it race, just want that edge on the seat feeling, and everyone knew that truck was no comparison 🤷♂️ personally I have the feeling like they are playing it safe, I could very well be wrong, again RS3 was a great match up. Contents always fire though 👏
And closer to 3000 lbs. Its all about power to weight. No more 7k lbs trucks with 900hp, we know they won't be competitive. Best comment I have seen so far is the SXSBlog guys wanting to run their 2JZ RZR. Thats in the right power to weight ratio.

That is missing the point. The hoonicorn is a car built for something else and happens to be good at drag racing. Shauns chevelle is a purpose built drag race car.

@@fxui the only one i seen that was purpose built for drag racing was the super donk. But even it isnt fully built for drag racing. It has full interior and has that stupid lift kit and wheels on it. The mazda that fell to pieces was the closest built drag car, but it is only a drag car because dude couldnt drive like ken even if he was playing forza. I may have missed some episodes but i didnt see a single drag race car on the show
