Those of you who have missed get in that role, do yourself a favor, find a way. It's an Oscar worthy performance by a child. Haille that is a master class in acting. Please don't stop working, you are incredible. By far my favorite potrayal of Helen, and I've seen several. You upstage everyone, and the cast is decent, phenomenally well chosen group, but you are outstanding.

my grandma is deaf and mute my great grandmother 97 now had 5 kids every other one was deaf.... my grandma she barrel races and rides horses her brother my uncle died when I was 4 half in a car wreck was also same and he rode bulls and horse's..they are alot tougher and smarter than ppl give them credit for . don't underestimate them
It’s very interesting how she went to deaf and blind schools, The movie made me want to learn sign and asl so I like this girl she’s very smart and mature. Her voice is quite calming as well 🙃

I still love her, I just don’t love her enough to spend my time learning everything about her (although I have retained the knowledge I have if her from when I was a kid). I think she was my Asperger’s Syndrome special interest. It’s hard to beat Patty Duke at the role, but she did really well. Anyone hear about the deaf-blind woman who graduated from Harvard Law School?
