- This is my second time to Qingdao, a beautiful coastal city, and I feel that Qingdao has become even more beautiful.
My first stop was to get off the plane at Qingdao's new airport. When I arrived at the new airport, I felt completely new and Qingdao's infrastructure was constantly improving.
So I am very interested in sharing this nearly 4-hour walking tour video of Qingdao with you. I hope you all like this long video.

Qingdao, in China’s eastern Shandong province, is a port city of skyscrapers, parks and beaches bordering the Yellow Sea. It's known for its beer, a legacy of the German occupation (1898-1914).

Why is Qingdao famous?

The city is the terminus of an east-west railway line and is linked by rail with the ports of Yantai and Weihai. It is also a large fishing port and is renowned for its parks and beaches. In 1984 Qingdao was designated one of China's “open” cities as part of a new policy inviting foreign investment.
As Qingdao continues to attract tourists and international businesses from around the world, the abundance of natural beauty, talented human resources, three central business districts, and the new Blue Silicon Valley continue to lure foreign investment. Qingdao, known as China’s Sailing City, is a popular tourist destination during the spring, summer, and fall. The city has decent air quality that is most always better than that of Beijing or Shanghai.
Qingdao annually hosts the International Sailing Week, SINO CES, and International Beer Festival. The Clipper Round The World Yacht Race is hosted bi-annually.
Qingdao, located in the southeast part of Shandong Province, is a beautiful seaside city. It is near to the Yellow Sea to the east and south, Yantai to the northeast, Weifang to the west and Rizhao to the southwest. Qingdao is one of the most beautiful coastal cities in China. Qingdao Port has been open to 177 ports around the world, bringing Qingdao to the most prosperous city in Shandong.
Tourists who visit Qingdao can explore cultural relics like churches, historic German architecture and former residence of celebrities in the Qingdao Old Town while viewing beautiful natural landscapes including parks, bathing beaches in coastal areas.
Be sure to go to Beer Street to taste the local Tsingtao beer whose best partner is always barbecue.
In addition, Pichai Food Street, Yunxiao Road Food Street, and Mai Island seafood Street offer the freshest seafood, and authentic Qingdao snacks. Qingdao International Beer Festival, the biggest beer festival in Asia, is held on the second weekend of August every year and lasts for 16 days. The whole city will be decorated and people can taste beer from the world.
The first impression visitors get of Qingdao is one of a beautiful city with red tiles, green trees, blue oceans, bluer sky and the Taoist holy site of Laoshan.

Qingdao Olympic Sailing Marine Cultural Tourism Area is located in Shinan District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, with a scenic area of 5.25Km², consisting of two major areas: the Underwater World and the Olympic Sailing Center.
As the sailing competition venue for the 2008 Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Olympic Sailing Center has the Olympic cultural heritage of sailing. The Olympic Games, the Shanghai Cooperation Summit, the Navy Festival and other major festivals have also left many valuable cultural resources for the Olympic Sailing Center.
Relying on high-quality tourism resources, the tourist area launches a full range of themed products such as marine sports, marine science research, and coastal leisure and entertainment, and makes the scenic spot an international ocean integrating sailing, seaside leisure, cultural experience, marine research, and exhibition tourism. cultural tourism destination.

七八年前高中毕业旅行去了青岛，因为一些事情没能好好游览，看了这个视频发现青岛真的挺漂亮的，希望以后有机会能再去一次。另外好几年没出去逛了，发现这些小吃街看起来好干净，那么大的人流量地上基本看不见垃圾，国人素质真的世界天花板了，就算是小日子也比不上。

Hahaha I must have left Qingdao (on Nov 12) just before your latest visit. It tickles me to think I might actually make an appearance as an extra in a Walk East video, had I stayed another day or two. Anyway I enjoyed the walk from the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center to 燕儿山岛公园 thoroughly.

@@NewBrotherWalkingTour888 您客气了，我看过您的频道，其实您的频道拍了不少好视频的，唯一就是到过的城市偏少，所以起来较慢。
我们这样类型的频道最最重要的因素应该就是地域的丰富性，展现多地才可能逐渐被青睐。。专拍一个城市难度要做起来太大了，就好比我这个频道开张的时候做了8个月长沙，最高的播放量才几千，后来换成全国出差顺道拍摄，拍了多个城市后才慢慢起来。。油管上即便是专拍纽约、首尔的都很难起来，倒是有个别拍东京的油管博主做得还不错。
所以我觉得有了地域的丰富性之后，才是其他因素，如拍摄质量或者方式等。
一家之言，可能偏颇，希望有所参考。感谢支持！

Just got back from Qingdao today, nice weather, blue ocean, great Shandong food. The city is clean and modern, but the new airport is a bit too far😅.

青岛沿海地区比较发达，往内陆走大部分是居民区，没有其他城市那么明显的特色，但宜居程度全国城市里偏上，原因就是夏天最高温不会超过30度，冬天零下的温度也不多，该有的设施都有，物价也不算贵。
