    Ay, cool series. She seems a warm receiver now. Just one more thing to explore:
    What is the optimal B+ voltage? My money has it less then 90 volts... ;-)

    I took a tip from old64goat and add an led indicator light to all my equipment that doesn't have a light to remind me it's on.

    I watch a guy Ray in the U.K."The Radio Workshop", and he restores radios for a living, he won't touch a Phillips, they did a lot of things different then other manufacturers and their radios are hard to work on apparently, I have never tried.

    Could you connect the Frequency counter to the LO and read the frequency then subtract 455khz from the LO to get the station frequency, Did you have any luck with QAM/QPSK?
