  • Lists are generally controversial and we don't expect everyone to agree on anything as subjective as food. In this video however, we name or Top 5 Best Epcot Quick Service Restaurants. For those that don't know, quick service dining at Disney represents any restaurant that you don't need a reservation for, has self serve seating and has window service food orders. We excluded any carts and/or locations that can be considered merchandise. Along the way we also partake in a Food Crawl to see if the restaurants we chose were still as good as we remember. See us chow down as we count down our top quick service restaurants at Epcot.

    I Always first get a baguette 🥖 at les halles to eat with everything else I eat around the showcase

    Les Halles #1, there is no comparison, best sweets best savory, best coffee, best cocktails, Just the best, everything here is better than anything at a kisok 😋

      Appreciate and respect your choice 😊 It was excellent on our last crawl, only downside is there is no mobile order, it’s very crowded, and there’s never ample seating when we’ve gone- which are things we factored into our decision. Taste wise though- I agree!!!

    …that crunch on the fried fish got me. Thats my jam. That would have been my #1 out of the line up.

      It was a perfect crunch !! I (Sam) don’t eat seafood so we factored into our ranking whether the restaurant had options for the whole fam, but Jay digs this spot.

    Great list! Yorkshire and Les Halles are definitely top tier for me too. I so miss when the nudel gratin used to be on the Sommerfest menu. That was sooooo great, and they must have trays of it backstage for Biergarten, so just take a small square and put it in a paper tray and let me buy it via quick service, haha.
    Very fun video, but if you could please try to update the captions for correctness/punctuation that would really help with accessibility; thanks for considering!

      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem +1

      Oh man, I never knew they had the Nudel Gratin! Hopefully they expand the menu a bit and I'd definitely like to see that make a comeback. To be honest, we didn't even know we could update and correct the captions. I agree accessibility is important and we'll definitely look into it. Thank you for the support and the suggestion 😃.

    Excited to try connections cafe next year 🤞🏻 happy to see the fish and chip shop on there too! Such a good meal in Epcot 😍

      Connections has undergone w lot of menu changes since we originally filmed this, but there are still some hits. Can’t wait to see you 😍

    5. Never been to connections cafe bc it wasn’t built yet last time I was there!
    4. Agree! The fish and chips are great and a good portion for the prices,
    3. Love les halles, never had savory food there, only sweets so I’ll have to try the non dessert foods!
    2. I’ve never checked out somerfest! Now I need to try that bread pudding!
    1. Must try that s’mores brownie !

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem

      My(Jay) top three Epcot quick desserts are the Regal Eagle Brownie, The Pretzel Bread Pudding and the Salted Caramel Gingerbread Cookie. They're all so good! Really can't go wrong with anything here. Hope you have the opportunity to try Connections one day. It's definitely not the best but they're are some great dishes and they have some fun takes on classic quick service.

  • @BubbaRayBiscuit

    You made some solid picks. I love the fish and chips at Yorkshire, the Jambon Beurre at Les Halles, and the brats at Sommerfest. I have not tried the other two. My problem, if you can even call it that, is that my last 5 visits to Epcot have been spent sampling food booths at the various festivals so I haven't done a quick service meal there in a few years.

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem

      You have good taste! We definetly eat at the booths more too, it’s hard not to. Sometimes when it’s really crowded it’s nice to have a place to sit :)

    We love the music loop and the Asian salad from Connections Cafe! We need to try that waffle.
    I've only had the Neapolitan Pastry from Les Halles but heard their ham and cheese is good for breakfast.
    We haven't had the fish and chips in the UK in forever but remember them being yummy.
    It's such a shame about that pudding in Germany though! It looks so good! I'm still gonna try it one day. I remember when I first had that beer! I love grapefruit and it hits the spot! So refreshing and a low ABV.
    We have always been hesitant on trying Eagle because just like the tri state with bagels and pizza we have been spoiled by Texas BBQ but the theming in there is awesome (love the muppets,) and we love homemade pickles so we def need to just try it. That s'mores bar already looks like a winner to me 😂
    I think our top 5 are
    1. Connection Cafe
    2. Sunshine Seasons
    3. Katsura Grill
    4. Kringla
    5. Tangerine Cafe

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem

      Yessss the general tso’s salad is a favorite of ours. Waffle is a must! Everything at Les Halles is yummy. The pretzel bread pudding in the past has been a 10, it was the end of the night though and I think that factored into it. Going into this vlog Tangerine Cafe was our #1, but it’s not open year round anymore 😭

    • @TwoTicketsToAdventure
      @TwoTicketsToAdventure Před rokem

      @@ThemeParkFoodies oh no that's a bummer about tangerine cafe!!! Now we know.

  • @TheAdventuresofMegGreg

    Fantastic choices for your top 5! My husband couldn’t agree more on Regal Eagle - he’s obsessed! So good. I haven’t eaten at Connections yet. Oh Les Halles ❤ yum!! That croissant is making my stomach growl haha. That macaron sampler looks delightful. That pretzel bread pudding from Germany looks absolutely devine 😍 yum! Awesome ranking and video you guys! Sorry we are so behind! Hope you are doing well! 😊💜

      No worries 😃, happy to know there's others who appreciate Sam Eagle BBQ as much as we do. Connections is a great spot, although we'd recommend maybe sticking with the waffle and burgers. The Shake is good too. In our opinion, you can't go wrong with any of these and we'd suggest pretty much anything we ate here. Thank you!

    We love an Epcot quick service. We are from Yorkshire so it’s interesting to see you include the fish and chips - we grew up on fish and chips 😆 can’t wait to try Connections cafe - that’s new since we last went.

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem +1

      😆 just going to assume the Fish and Chips you grew up on were better than the ones we had here. These were a bit more greasy than I'd like. Connections is fun! Love the mural and they have some fun takes on classics as well as some unique offerings. Would love to hear your thoughts after you try it out 😃.

      @@ThemeParkFoodies 😆 we did try the Yorkshire Fish and chips at Epcot - they were okay. The batter here tends to be more crispy and less greasy. It’s the chips that aren’t really the same. Will definitely be vlogging our meals. We are all about the food. Really enjoying catching up with your videos 😊

    I _KNEW_ Regal Eagle was going to be #1!!! So confident was I, that I began typing this comment when we were still on number #5 and have not had to backspace 😝 I’m ashamed to say that we have not eaten at ANY of the bottom four on your list, but we have been to RE and can confirm it is a solid pick for #1. Just learn from my mistakes and don’t go on ‘Star Tours’ right after eating. Idk, maybe I’m just an advocate for controversy, but I am *HERE* for list and ranking videos! Y’all should definitely do one for each park, the series would get some traffic! 😎 Also, since we’ve not said yet - congrats on your final match, Jay!

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem +1

      Well Tim, you were more confident then even us 😆. This list wasn't even locked in until we got there and even then we were debating on including Tangerine Cafe, which we didn't realize is only open for Festivals! However, in hindsight, I stand-by Regal Eagle being number 1. It hits all the metrics. I certainly won't consider riding Star Tours after. I do recommend checking out The American Adventure show though! A ranking series is in the works. Our goal is to do one fot each park during slower seasons. Once you hit August, I feel like there's a whirlwind of events here in Orlando. In regards to the match, thank you! I actually vlogged the entire experience. Don't know how many people will watch but it should be out soon and I'm happy I have the video for me.

    The only place on your list that I ate at recently enough to remember was Regal Eagle😂 and we did not save enough room for dessert last time. The smores brownie gives me Hershey vibes 🍫 I do love the Muppets ❤
    I really want to try the pretzel bread pudding (on a good day).

    • @ThemeParkFoodies
      @ThemeParkFoodies  Před rokem

      Smores Brownie and The Pretzel Bread Pudding are musts for us. Along with the Salted Caramel Gingerbread Cookie in Germany. If we could suggest one place out of the 4 you guys haven't tried though, it'd definitely be Les Halles. It has that classic Epcot atmosphere and authentic cuisine. Muppets put Regal Eagle over the top though. Everything here is solid though.

      Slaw just sounds more funky to me. It's a side with a lot of personality.
