2. Star Ship Design Rank 4 to add better mods to this ship is desirable but not required.
3. This is a random event so its not a for sure thing. May take time and multiple attempts
4. This should not be level locked as many comments from low level or new NG+ players have had success but from my testing being at least level 30 is a good start to increases chances.
5. Set difficulty to very easy

Just found a Vista III on the ground at a randomly generated outpost in Zeta Ophiuchi III-a. Doubled the engines and switched out the auto turrets for manual firing ones. It's amazing.

I FINALLY got a Vista III off a moon in Hawking today :) I usually leave colonists and their ships alone but when I saw Vista III I had to take it lol. Ran past the colonists outside, they left absolutely no one on board, I was amazed. Got to cockpit, sat down, made it my homeship, reg'd it and took off leaving the poor colonists stranded. Do I feel bad? No, it's a VISTA III.

@@marknorthrup4897 I literally about 2 hrs ago stole a Venture III (B class but whatever) from another herd of colonists. Except this time I took command, made it my homeship, reg'd it then exited the ship, walked back to my claymore III I originally landed in, made it my homeship again, exited, walked back to MY NEW Venture III and watched the poor colonists trying to board it but they couldn't get inside lol. I think the boredom of the xp grind has made me realize that being diabolical is good for a laugh once in awhile.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ Archimedes IV-A raining ships today. Stole TWO more Vista III's, a Claymore III and a Va'run Prophecy III. Crappy XP farm moon as most outposts and facilities are civilian but great ship moon two days in a row for me.
Finally hit the jackpot.Found a UC Vista III at Bohr 1A.Worth it 👍👍👍👍

If you put a Poseidon DT230+AresDT60 on each side of the back section and put a Nova bracer in the space in front of the bracer for continuity (looks) then paint to match - you will get 100% mobility on the Vista III and a look that conforms pretty well to the design.

I'm in NG+ (2), Level 118 and found a Vista III on Kreet (of all surprising locations). For a brief moment I felt bad leaving the colonists wandering about, but after a quick Digikey dance it was mine.

I found a UC Vista III that landed on Montara Luna close to one of the civilian Outposts. It was locked and no one was on board. Easiest ship I have ever got. Picked the lock and flew away. Oh forgot to add I'm playing on hard.

I just wanna tell someone, but after many, many levels, 550 hours, and multiple NG+ cycles I FINALLY GOT MY FIRST UC VISTA IN THE WILD. I was on Hawking IV-A. It was only a Mk. II variant, but I don’t care. I love it, and it’s now my favorite ship. I’ve both bought and built Vista’s but none of them gave me any satisfaction because I’d never gotten one farming ships. Now I finally did and I’m staying in this NG+ Universe until I’m done with Starfield I think.
Now, I don’t wanna really wanna talk about how almost immediately my new Vista got hit with the Shield Systems bug that cut me from 3000ish shields to less than 1000. Thank Todd for console commands. Our lord Todd almighty giveth, but he also taketh away.
Congrats bro! Thats so freaking awesome. I understand as its been the same experience for me as well. Wonder where about in the world you are ? No other ship has been so freaking rare for me. How long have you been in your current NG character and what level are you>? Plus the Mk II is actually so super close to the MK III its worth taking that!
Ah yer that bloody shield bug! How did you fix the shield bug with console commands?
I went to a few vendors after watching this and two of them had Vista IIIs for sale. I would like to find the Reef III, Dragonfire, and the Silent Runner because I don't think I've seen those yet. I quit using my Narwhal pretty much after I got the Vista III about a month ago. I just put some better weapons on it and it was pretty much good to go.
Vista 3 is such a badass ship you really can't go wrong there :) The other ships you can find in space or on land. Dragonfly you won't really find on land tho other then shops.
I played yesterday, and was amazed at how many really high level ships I could find. With no fibbing here, I stole at least three of the Claymores (which is my favorite ship), two or three Vista III's and the Va'ruun prophecy III's. It kept me busy going to Sol and Narion to sell these monsters... and they sell for big credits.
My best luck came in Level 60 systems... Load and reload.
Something I learned if on a reload a ship doesn't show up... it is usually that it is already on the ground... the ones on the ground never fly off when you run to them.
Also, I have noticed that many ships that I capture on the ground are actually in space flying around by the time I sit in the pilots seat.
Also, with the Vista III, quite often I need to go to another moon/planet in the same system and then come back to the ship before it will allow me to sit in the pilots seat.
All in all, the theft of ships... whether in the air or ground is my favorite mini-game within the game. I love the big Prophecy ships because they are teeming with bad guys to kill.
My favorite 'killer' ship has become a Frontier that I have put every big gun, landing gear, drive, reactor on and I added some parts to take advantage of the open middle design where the AI is aiming for the middle... and my ship isn't in the middle. It looks rather unusual, but really works well. With this design you don't really need a great shield unless you get in a battle with three or more ships... which is great fun. I still use a great shield. I don't care about the cost because I can capture three big ships and pay for it in an hours time.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ I'm level 223 and before I made the jump I maxed out all of the combat and ship skills. I'm playing mainly in the 55-60 to 75 level areas... my best luck is on one of the moons and in a crater area if possible... or just frozen land.. but the crater seems to be the best. Keep the videos coming... I look forward to them.
I was able to steal two ships from the same area today... One a Wight III and another little B class... plus a bunch others.
2 days ago I never seen a vista ever, even after 600 hours today I found one at eleos retreat and snapped it up 😂
Wow nice yer it seems to be incredibly rare for many of us.
Sometime there is no boom, but your scanner will find a ship landing site that has a ship waiting for you. I have found that Huygens VII-a on mountains will drop some different ships than you will find on moons with say craters. There also seems to be a higher drop rate of UC specific ships. I just found vista after doing a autosave load. In past play through I was not able to find a vista here, but did find a UC Autobahn.
Sorry for the late response. Huygens system can be great for vistas depending on your spawn pools. I would always get Autobahns and reefs.
I like the new more detailed ship parts showcase/comparison @ 4:16. I would switch up the background music a bit though :)
Thanks good to know. Yer sorry about the music the licensing of music can be such a pain and they can take 30 days to check your license .It can delay payments for months. But I'll look into some copy right free music.
I grabbed a Vista III from a vendor. With some mods (Place Doors Yourself, Ultimate Shipyards Unlocked) where I can give it more power and engines .. and control where all the doors and ladders are, I actually love the internal design. All I basically changed internally (besides doors/ladders) was to shift the science lab hab to a workstation hab.
There are class M engines in the Ultimate Shipyards unlocked mod that are called: Amun Dunn Z-300 and they fit perfectly on this ship. 2 of them are perfect and allow some more cargo and mobility 100.
Hahah yer the z-300 is a beast! Great upgrade for it and nice change to the sci lab. Yer I really enjoy the layout of the Vista such a cool ship for a base ship.
I see the Vista III from ship techs sometimes but I'm over level 130 and on NG+ 6. Also every time I see it the Autobahn III is also there.

Just got a UC voyager II & a Spacer Hyena out on moons inHawkins ,I think the hyena is the same base as the Vista but it's definitely going to need upgrades only has 21ly jump range and weapons are pretty weak. Need to look them both over and play with the builder
Woohoo thats still awesome. You might find a civilians outpost in Hawkins with a technician to upgrade so you can leave the system.
@SiNKiLLeR_ yeah was able to find d a vendor out that way.. unlike the other day stole a bayonet I think wound up stuck between a few systems. Couldn't jump beyond the three had to jump from moon to moon til a or c tier ship popped up as it seemed I was stuck until I could find a ship with better than 20 ly Grav jump

@SiNKiLLeR_ it's alot of fun I changed out the turrets though they kept destroying ships before I could dock on them will be fun to roam around with until I setup to do unity in my playthrough.
I acquired an UC Vista III in the Denebola star system, on the moon Denebola I-B at a landing area in the volcanic biome. My save file at the time was NG 6+, character level 115, playtime 16 days. Not sure what determines which ship spawns at a location, giving that I found the Vista at a level 30 star system.

Strange the way RNG works but when I started NG+2 the two most common ships for me are the Vista 3 and the Claymore 3. When I started needed credits and a new ship. Typically do my upgrades at the Red Mile where I have sold 19 ships. 12 are the UC Vista 3 and 4 are the Claymore 3. Usually do Masada 6a or 5a, but the Freestar Vista 3 and the UC Vista 3 will drop for me in any 75 system. Never have seen a Voyager land. Now at Level 128, also never have seen a level 74 Valentine. Level 76 Valentine I found is also a Vista 3.
All I could suggest is to try play at different times to what you normally play. I have the same issue with Vista ships. Not really in my spawn spools but have find it at odd times.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ I kind of do that anyways. Just started NG+3 and the first 4 ships to spawn were 1 Claymore 3 and 3 Vista 3s. 1 of the Vista's was Freestar. Seems I am in the same pool. 3 different 75 solar systems. Had 1 Chimera 3 completely disappear from my inventory. Will probably just blow through this one and get to 4.

For me, the three most common ships that "stop by to say hello" while I am exploring on planets is - Vista III, Claymore III, and Prophecy III. I have NEVER seen the Autobahn. I am level 244.
Not a bad spawn pool. You could always try playing at a more unusual time and see if that helps at all.
It’s strange because the autobahns spawn constantly for me but never see a vista unless it’s a save hostage mission

Seriously have 25 days in this game I'm level 80 and I have never seen a single vista 1,2 or 3 on ng5 and all I keep finding ate autobahns😢
hi. thanks for the vids they are verry informative. could you do a vid, or explain how to get rid of security guards on the ship after you have boarded it and after paying off the bounty? I got a Chimera III last night and its got Security on board. I have had it before and just ended up selling the ship. I have looked all over the net, but no one seems to have this problem.
Unfortunately this is a bug. You could try selling it to a ship vendor then buy it right back and that should fix it hopefully.

I noticed a similar effect when I bought the Advanced Big Bang. All the sudden they were every where.
Hahaha I wonder if there is something to that. I haven't experienced it but maybe because once you can buy it you've hit the level unlock so its more likely to spawn in game.
That's funny. On one of my ng+ runs I ran into one and stole it, all of a sudden I ran into another 4 of them all different levels and different factions. Definitely seems there's something to this theory. Haven't seen another since.

I found the Vista lll at Gagarin, Gagarin Landing. Had to purchase it for 435k. I'm lvl 78. Spawns at 76. Good luck find yours everyone.
You had to purchase it from a mechanic? No luck finding them out in the wild? Can be like that tho. In some games I would never get a vista landing.
@SiNKiLLeR_ Yes, the Gagarin ship technician in Alpha Centauri system. I searched multiple planet's moons with no luck after hitting level 76. Once I purchased the Vista 3, they started popping up everywhere. Lol
I stole my third Vista III and keep it unused for my collection and bragging rights, but I am unsure of what to do with it because it is an absolute maze inside! You stated before that the Vista III is your favorite ship, followed by the Stormrider III, and your third choice is the Ecliptic Claymore III. While I haven’t found a Stormrider III in the wild yet, I do have a second Claymore III (my first one had to be sold off due to the invisibility bug). The Claymore III is my favorite stock class C ship in the game. I kept the exact same design but modified it to hold 7,000 cargo (all hidden from view) with the skill perks and 100 mobility. I just don’t see the love for the Vista?

i’ve been on the hunt for a vista III, i found a II and was a bit underwhelmed because it wasn’t a III, but i can’t find a III for my LIFE🤣. i feel like i still need to find a III but idk if it’s worth it😭
Vista II is pretty close to the III so its a great choice still. Only a coucple of differences.
Vista 3 can be bloody hard to get then suddenly you'll see it everywhere for a time.
Id stick with the Vista 2 for now.

It depends on spawn pools. For me it was easier to find them in space and sometimes then meant attacking the UC to get one. If you have no luck finding them on the ground then higher level systems can be the ticket.
Question? wouldn't you get a bounty placed if you took a FreeStar Vista or UC Vista? as I only been taking ships from the 3 hostile factions to avoid travel issues.
Good questions. No you want get into trouble or a bounty from stealing freestar or uc ship on the ground as long as done correctly. I have a video on how to take smugglers ships.
The trick of stealing UC or Vanguard ships on the ground. by Not boarding it, and going to the Lodge and sleeping for 72 hours works every time!!
When I encounter any UC or Freestar ship on the ground I just go up to the entry ladder or door, put the curser onto the hatch to identify the ship, but not board it, then go sleep at the Lodge. *Note: You may need to place an outpost nearby just to be able to locate your target ship for your return to capture it, if it is not near a recognizable or already explored planetary landmark.

i found a vista III on my first new game plus, i forgot if Alpha Centaury o another closer system XD it landed near me, ah was the encounter whit the guy that mistake you for some curier.

I find the Vista III all the damn time. The issue is that I just can't steal them. None of the workarounds work for me.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ I'm on my 11th playthrough now, I'm about level 260. So I have pretty much everything. I've done all the missions, not on this playthrough but on previous ones, which tends to carry through into NG+ games.
I've found the Vista all over the place. I don't recall where exactly, but I've tried all the workaround rubbish, like leaving the planet and coming back, making outposts, going to other solar systems, resting 600 hours in between, you name it. The result is always the same. Not authorized. I'm at a point now, where when I see the Vista, I just move on and don't even bother anymore.

I currently have an outpost on Copernicus VIII-C where I have a UC Vanguard Longsword III sitting there, empty, waiting for some love. I get that same not authorised message for that. Tried all the tricks still can't steal that one.
Maybe joining the UC will let me take it.
@@Richard-ug4el you'll never be able to steal the uc long sword. Its considered a dead ship only console commands will work on that. Can you steal smuggler ships?
