I went to my first rave last year. EDC Las Vegas. My phone got stolen right out of my fanny pack the first night😂. But I enjoyed the festival so much more without the distraction of a phone.
After ten years of raving, getting lost is the part of the night I love the most! (side quest rule!)
Water is key. I learned the hard way, you almost never know how much you’re sweating. Passed out because of it, I felt lightheaded and wiped my forehead just to learn too late that my hand was basically under water. And down I went. For me, I take a sip at the beginning of the buildups in the song/ or you take a bigger drink after each song!
I’m going to EDC this year for the first time and I’m overall new to the rave community and I’ve been watching your videos and they have definitely helped! Thank you ! Your AWESOME ❤️💕

I’m so sad rn... I can’t go to edc LV anymore. I feel as though my heart is breaking. Truly I am devastated. The only thing giving me hope is that my long time boyfriend is promising to take me 2020. Sorry if I’m over sharing, it’s just that i don’t have a lot of edm friends and no one understands what it meant to go to edc LV.... ♥️🌸✌️

The last one to me is not rookie at all...the rookies always stay with the group like their attached at the hip bc it can be overwhelming at first but I would say my oldest veteran friends GET LOST ALL THE TIME 😂 haha and some just never learn lol.
A notable rookie mistake on behalf of all the glovers (like myself) out there is trying to give someone diffraction glasses while they are enjoying a light show! It doesn’t bother me much when a rookie is wearing the glasses during a show bc I remember it took me some time before I could appreciate the art for what is (and when its your first rave you wanna look at EVERYTHING with those damn glasses lol)...but when someone buts in during a show to try to give my viewer or myself diffraction glasses I am just like “dude...etiquette please!” LOL.
Oh my god, that Intro is Fabulous! About time your channel starts looking professional, that way when your channel blows up you'll be ready!
Omg at EDC last year( my first EDC) I wore platforms 2/3 days and omg never again !!!! My feet were crying lol
And also I think I get so caught up with the DJs I wanted to see I didn't give myself time to walk around and explore . There's was a whole section of the speedway I didn't even know was there lol
edc orlando 2019 was my first festival and i spent the first day getting poured on in 60 degree weather in a mesh top and booty shorts w no sweater or poncho 💀💀💀

We got scammed by a “promoter” during EDC week. Never pay in advanced. If you gotta pay, pay at the door.

My first festival was Starscape. For those not from the mid east coast its Moonrise now. I would say make sure you bring enough money.

Loads of brilliant artists that i loved from the 90's and 2000's, as well as Hard-style
Some of my stuff got stolen even before going, my phone and cash in Paris because...Paris. Loved the architecture though
I made the mistake of not having comfy shoes and settled for sandles for five days, my feet and head felt out of this world by day five
Also print out vouchers and chargers, they charge a fortune in their currency to keep your phone charged

Just went to my first festival this past summer and I can vouch for a few of these lmao. I didn't put my wristband on too early but I put it on too tight so even trying to get it off with certain techniques, I couldn't and ended up having to just cut it with a scissor. Also ended up staying in the same spot at main stage like the whole time for one of the days. The pickpocketing is also real, especially at Ezoo where I was. My friends phone got stolen the first day we were there.
Been subscribed a few weeks now and love ur videos. I wanted edc to be my first ever festival but have changed it to Reverze. I am a shredded male so my real worry is what about it being in another country and the country? Yeah, that’s a lot. Belgium for Reverze. Will be going alone and it is my first rave. Da Tweekaz,and Brennan Heart are my favs. That style to me is best at Reverze. Just wanted to see what u thought about it. Have u been to one outside the country?

I'm going to EDC for the first time ever this year (and it's also my first music festival ever as well) and I'm wondering if you think bringing walkie talkies is a good idea. I realize cell phone service can be pretty poor, so this just makes sense to me, but have they ever helped you out? Thanks! And keep up the great work with this channel!
John Smith's Basement I don’t remember if they allow those in, if they do it can’t hurt, but honestly you will get SOME service it just depends where you’re standing. If you group communicates meeting spots and times you should be fine!

Went to my first festival(Veld Toronto) this year with my boyfriend and some of our friends - I was the only one who has never been to a festival so luckily I was with veteran ravers. The mistake I made was putting my wristband on too tight I'm so lucky I got it off with scissors. Other than that I got my feet wet this year and stuck with the group and kept hydrated and talked to other people and had a great time, can't wait for my second festival.
