    After my homemade pipe organ, thisi is my second organ project.
    I remind that I'm not a professional organ builder, but only an enthusiast.
    these videos are not real tutorials, but entertainment. however, from these you can understand how to build it too.
    When using any kind of tools and machinery, I strongly recommend you always have to refer precisely to the manufacturer's guidelines & safety manual.

      Thanks Animalistik! maybe I will expand the repertoire to some other medieval or Renaissance author for this organ. We'll have fun!

    very nice project, and great great job ! The one thing i don't understand it is how you use your water gauge...

    • @nippocast
      @nippocast  Před 3 lety

      Thanks gaulix99, the water gauge is connected directly to the bellows, by varying the weight on the bellows boards I change the pressure

      thank you too for this fast answer. I understanding what you mean. And if I understand well, your tuning pressure is about 40mm water column ?
      I di'nt known this water column system for air pressure measuring.But I known the mercury column for vacum mesuring...
      I'm native american flute maker (beginer) and I've made my first triple harmony drone native flute, and I have discover the complexity of the pitch affected by air pressure.
      The flute can play tubes separatly, or 2 by 2 or 3 together. this is affect the air pressur into pipe by air dividing into the pipes, so the pitch too, and I must do all of that without air pressure measuring equipment, just by feeling into blowing with the mouth...
      Do you have a significative air pressure drop when you play several pipe together ? and how it affect your pitch, how do you deal with ?
      I'm very surprise by the similarity of sound system, very close to the native american flute, with channel into additionnal wood block.
      The bevel angle you use is very low comparing to the native american flutes, wee use 45° angle. and a burnish edge for a smooth and pure tone.
      I must to tell you that your pipes do a very beautifull sound.

    Fascinating thank you. Do you know how much the temperature / humidity affects the tuning?

      @nippocast  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi John, thanks for the question. I can't tell you exactly, but in metal pipes if you hold them in your hands for a while, they drop down to 2 / 3Hz

    @nippocast Sono sempre più contento dei risultati ottenuti in questo progetto, ma avrei bisogno di comprendere una cosa... Nella realizzazione delle canne varia ovviamente la lunghezza, ma le dimensioni dei lati variano secondo una formula man mano che la canna diviene più piccola? È possibile mantenere le dimensioni dei lati uguali per tutte le ottave? Grazie

    • @nippocast
      @nippocast  Před 3 lety

      Ciao Marco, certo le dimensioni cambiano , si chiama scalatura delle canne, serve per ottenere una coerenza timbrica. negli organi antichi ci sono casi di canne tutte uguali in diametro ma bisogna lavorare diversamente sull'altezza bocca, altrimenti le canne basse suoneranno ricche di armoniche e quelle alte povere di armoniche, molto flautare.

      @@nippocast grazie mille per l'informazione. La domanda viene dal fatto che il catalogo con le misure da me consultato non ha tutti i parametri per ogni canna. Però il mio obbiettivo sarebbe fare un organo a 3 ottave senza scavezza e forse non rappresenta un problema. Devo stare attento nell'intonazione. Grazie nuovamente. ✌️
