She has a deadweight of 1500 tons. That is a fair amount, but not huge. You need to lift say 1/2 to 3/4 of that to put her back on blocks. But you can't lift in one point, or she will break into bits. The biggest crane in the world can lift 5000 tons, so would have no trouble with the weight. Getting it there and on a stable platform would be a much bigger challenge. I suspect that they could use between 2 and 4 portable cranes to lift her, attaching at multiple points. The question is whether a crane lift is more practical than refloating her. Part of the answer may depend on what damage, if any, has happened to the hull.

Of course Bezos needs the shadow vessel. His main boat is only 127m long; there won't be enough room for stuff! Seriously, it's a sailboat. You can't put a helipad on it, if you want that.
Is Koru gaff rigged ??? I thought it was gonna be square Dyna-rig, like Black Pearl. Then it looked like Marconi rig coming from the shipyard. Now I see what looks like 3 gaffs.
Agree that Black Pearl (and many other boats) have better lines. Koru is really plain-looking (a tad ugly) IMHO. If I were going to spend that sort of $ on a newly built boat, I would hire a fancy designer and make it look snazzy.

Would they bring cranes to get the vessel (the RV Petrel) upright again? Or can the flood the dock and float her out, reset the blocks, and bring the vessel back in to the dock and secure her, then drain the dock?

At 112,000 a month for 5 people, that's an average of just under $30K a month. Maybe I should have gone into yachting rather than what I did. I sure wouldn't mind $30K a month to sit around in a tourist destination doing next to nothing on a sanctioned yacht.

The top 5 law firms in the world bill annually more than $1.2 Billion each. We would never know their clients unless we were dealing directly with them. Oligarchs are permisy=tted to pay for legal representation. Hence some of them tried to send their lawyers way more than the fees.

How does the English law firm get paid? Surely they don't take Rubles, and they cannot accept Euros, USD, or Sterling. They cannot accept a SWIFT payment or wire transfer on the U.S. Fed wire.
