Hey DJ Carlo, thank you for these videos! I think it's awesome you are helping people learn how to DJ, I've looked around for a lot of similar online tutorials, but these are really helpful! I've always wanted to be a DJ, and just bought my first controller a few months ago. I'm ecstatic to be getting started and to get creative with the music. My question for you is: When you started performing live shows and getting into competitions, did you have stage fright? And if you did, what helped you overcome that?

DJ Carlo I totally admire the fact that you give free advice out and great advice it is. I have a complicated question and hope this is the place to ask it. I have seen some well known DJ's do an effect during mixing. While playing a song and while the music is playing of that same song, they scratch the first word of the lyric in. But at the same time the music of that same song is playing. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it right but if I am, can you please give a tutorial on how this is done. It would be very greatly appreciated. I've always wondered how this is done and how it's possible
