I was born and raised in Bronx, New York. And I'm Puertorriqueña y Dominicana. New York has such a variety of Latino food, especially Puerto Rican and Dominican. And the food is bomb 🔥 It's cooked with the love and soul of our ancestors 😂 It's mad flavorful deadass.

Yes the qupies and dominican cake is good there but Washington heights have the best dominican cake and la pequena Colombia got good colombian food in Jackson heights queens
LilRemyRed la pequeña colombia is ok it’s changed recently and I’ve been going there since I was little. I prefer now la boina roja but yes there are manyyy good Colombian (and manyyyy other cuisines) spots in Jackson heights!

DAMN that food looked good! I worked with a Puerto Rican/Dominican man up in North Harlem and no matter what meeting was happening in the boardroom or office at 1pm EVERYDAY his mother would come in and push our papers aside and practically fed us like babies the BEST DOMINICAN food! Customers used to book appointments at 1pm with us because they knew there was lunch! The food was fantastic but the Dominican MOM added a memory to every meal! Some of the nicest people I have ever met I would love to go to the DR some day.
Not a major US city, and I only recommend in the Summer, but Midtown Minneapolis has an amazing Latino culture, which I was surprised about! You should come visit

There’s a Salvadorian restaurant where I live it’s called “Las Pupusas Mama Lita” but inside during the afternoon there’s a lot of people inside. The restaurant is located in Vista California. It closes at 8:00pm.

Please now I believe that Mexican food is really good when you are in the West coast, but when you are living in the East coast the Caribbean food is also bomb.... Each place has their unique style nd regardless if you love to eat either one are bomb it just all depends where you are at, at the time.... Hey I don't like when us latino say Mexican food is better than any other... But honestly every culture has their own opinion nd anyone who loves food will eat anything... I'm from NY and I can say Cali has the best Authentic Mexican food unlike the south west,no offense to anyone from there but there's a huge difference in dishes and flavor.
Im from New York, and in a predominantly Mexican neighborhood in Brooklyn, and let me tell it is the bomb, there are mexican markets in every corner and a festival dedicated to independence day and it is on par to actual mexican food.

Sunset park and Park slope in Brooklyn ! We got everything, PR, DR, Mexican.. everything and it's super cheap but you get a massive amount and it's AUTHENTIC! Every restaurant the workers treat you like family, you never feel rushed or out of place. Please visit !! Best time to visit is the summer time !

I loveeeee thisss i was born and raised in new york, but the way my bank account is set up i can't be going out to eat lol, i definitely eaten before in Elsa's i dnt even like chicharron it doesnt even taste like chicharron! I miss my city so much. I went to Elsa and Floridita all the time and I am Jamaican. There is so much good food in Washington Heights and some of the best are from people that cook out of their own apartments. I lived in Washington Heights for almost 14 years.

Yucca Rellena in Panama is called Carimañolas and they are GOOOOOOOOOD! And in Panama Piraguas are called Raspao and they add Sweet Condensed milk, honey and malt to whatever flavor of Raspao you choose.. Y'all should Visit Panama it's AWESOME
