hey Annie, first of all again congratulations ! A suggestion: You should do an info video about pregnancy. I find it so overwhelming. Which food you cannot eat, skincare you cannot use anymore, make-up, perfume, etc What to use for strechmarks, which vitamins to take etc Also what to buy for a new born and also a topic that is not so popular, what to buy for yourself to help you true the struggles of pregnancy, birth and post birth. You are the health guru i would definitely listen to you !
I second this as I’m hoping to be on this journey in the next few years and I honestly would not have a clue on what you can and cannot use or do beyond the obvious stuff 😅

My husband and I have been married for 17 years and we switched to individual duvets covers 1 month into to our marriage 😂 we absolutely love having each our own cover! You are gonna be a wonderful mother! Our kids are 14 and 11💕 They grow up way too fast 😭

Congrats again Annie on the little bundle of joy. I've had two range rovers throughout the years and I do not recommend it. Both cars had issues and every-time I had to get it fixed, it costs an arm and a leg. Just overall unreliable. A few months after I got my brand new RR my gps broke. I would highly recommend the Tesla Y.

I loved your discussion with Mo while test driving the Range Rover 😅😅😅 “maybe his wife is pregnant” - you are both such lovely people and will make incredible parents. I had a Range Rover that I drove in the Netherlands 😉 it was great on the highway and I certainly felt secure. And it did take some getting used to after having a small car for many years.

I am so happy for you, I can feel the excitement for your baby, I remember having the same feeling of curiosity to how the baby would look as a child and teenager, now my baby is almost a 21 year old young woman she is kind, smart and beautiful. What I am trying to say is, the child will grow up to be the person you form and I can see already you will be a wonderful Mom.

Few things that I wasn’t prepared for but know now:
1. Hire a lactation consultant if you are struggling with breastfeeding and give it at least a month of trying (if you mentally can)
2. Make sure that baby is getting plenty of vitamin d everyday to minimize chances of getting jaundice (hopefully)
3. Baby wearing is amazing to get things done with a baby.
4. There is no “one right way” - you’re going to be trying your best and sometimes you’ll feel like you’re miserably failing but always know there’s no one that loves your baby as much as you and no one else that would try as hard for them.. looking forward to this journey with you!

newborn jaundice is not related to vitamin d . It is a process that occurs during the normal newborn transitional and peaks between days 3 to 5 of life . It is caused from the metabolism of red blood cell breakdown through the newborns liver and their ability to clear it . If mom /baby’s blood type are different{ ABO incompatibility] or if it has been a difficult delivery causing bruising on the baby it will be more pronounced with close monitoring and possible treatment {phototherapy} in the first week of life . Most newborns will not need treatment . Newborns are not to be supplemented with vit d and should not be in the sun at all. I have over forty years of experience as a labor/delivery and mom/baby registered nurse .
Yes! Prepare your breast (Nipples) for breast feeding! Sounds crazy right? It’s a thing though. I’m sure one of your books will talk about it. I skipped that when I was educating myself. Big mistake.
@@pamelaandpabloortiz6250 that’s interesting because my son actually did need phototherapy since his bilirubin levels were too high and the paediatrician and OB said that giving vit d to the baby was essential to help the liver to break it down (we live in Canada so we are already vit d deficient I assume). They even told me that when I take him home to let him be exposed to the sun for 15min everyday 🤷🏻♀️ .. the vit d obviously wouldn’t prevent jaundice completely.. as I said it would potentially help MINIMIZE (hopefully).. all babies get a bit yellow but I meant requiring hospitalization maybe I should have clarified that part.. and in Ontario the hospital provides us with newborn baby vit d drops (I believe it’s 400IU)

Also, I think you will fall in love with the Velar! I have one and she drives like a dream. Super safe and comfortable for you and baby. I would definitely suggest test driving it a few more times and get to know the car more. It took me about 3 test drives before I completely fell in love with it! Best of luck!!

I've been watching your videos for about 4 years now and I am so excited for you! I got my first baby last year in April.. He's turning 1 soon! So crazy how fast this year has gone by! It wasn't always easy for me especially in the beginning when he would cry a lot for no reason but as he grew up it has been so much more fun and rewarding!❤ I'm so excited to see more mommy content from you in the future, you'll be a great mom! Don’t worry about the birth too much, it helped me to remind myself that it would be a painful day in my life and that it will be over in 24 hours (most of them are) and I managed with that thought to birth naturally.

Hello beautiful, I can only recommend the Velar. I also have a Range Rover and get to drive a Velar when my car goes to inspection or so… you get used to it very fast. It is basically my dream car 😘😘😘😘

Congrats!! I am 35 weeks pregnant with my first so I can relate. If you’re considering a natural/physiological labor, I HIGHLY recommend reading Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin and Reclaiming Childbirth as a Rite of Passage by Rachel Reed. Both seriously blew my mind and educated me so well. There are so many great Instagram accounts as well out there! I have learned so much and am SO excited for labor and birth.

The nuna products are realllly good! We got the package that is the pushchair, pram with carrycot and car seat and we're soooo happy with them (even though our baby hasn't arrived yet hahah)

Nuna car seats don’t perform so well on safety tests. There is a great German brand Maxi Cosi and they have the 360 degree rotation option too.
