Some young patients with hereditary heavy neck and weak chin projections have come to me expecting to be told that they need a facelift or neck lift, and that isn’t always the case! Removal of her deep neck fat combined with liposuction of under the chin area has given her a great neck. To prevent skin sagging after liposuction skin a device called Profound RF was used to firm up the skin of the neck. To improve her weak chin, a chin implant was inserted over the bone to create a better projection. #buccalfatremoval helped her to achieve a better-contoured face. Now she has a #snatchedjawline. I've seen these two procedures combined often and it can produce dramatic effects. Often, when someone has a receding chin, it can visually shorten a face and also make a face look rounder than what it is. When the chin is advanced, it reflects from the fullness in the bottom cheek and jowl area and when also combined with buccal fat removal, it can be really dramatic like in this case.
