While I find it best for children to be active, productive, and have something to show for their time, playing video games (whatever type they might be) is certainly far better than adolescents running in the streets or experimenting with narcotics. The most recent casualty number i could find were from the New York times in late 23 reporting the Ukranian losses as 70,000 killed and 100,000 to 120,000 wounded. Another 90 to 120 civilians have been killed with 28,000 more being captured.
