I find it's only ever surprising when an outlier wins, but that hasn't happened in a very long time 😅 Sadly, Eurovision winners are very predictable for the most part, as more often that not the favourite does win (and if they don't, the winner is still at least top 3 in the odds)

I saw some guy in yt comments 7 weeks or so ago totally thinking he made a great point by saying that like 80%+ of all the Europapa listeners were dutch/belgian. Meanwhile thats the case for every country, Italy's La Noia was litterly 90%+ of listeners being from Italy, and it had double the listeners. So the point isn't that great. And if we want to talk about YT views. If La Noia got less than a couple of million views on the official video, and Europapa got 20M while Netherlands only have 18M people living there and Italy many many millions more, and not even 60% of the country has listened to the official video on yt. Than it is still an incredible achievement.
I’m of the same view except Netherlands and Croatia is the other way round. Croatia is showing solid jury potential in the Balkans in particular within Euro Jury at the moment, Netherlands in the other hand is really not getting any support in that forum, and I can’t see juries giving this anywhere near enough support
I believe both Croatia and Netherlands will do badly to juries . Also some countries from the balkans dont even participate ( romania , Bulgaria , macedonia etc ) that would support another balkan country . And i think balkan countries will support more greece than Croatia because of better vocals .
@@deixekwlarak have a look at how the Euro jury is unfolding currently, it’s a fairly accurate predictor of the jury vote. Croatia doing much better than Netherlands, I think currently 6th in the standings. Most of their points coming from the Balkans as you’d expect. Greece are slightly further down the rankings (as are Netherlands)

I don’t see the televote giving more than 200 points to Switzerland so I think is hard for them to win, on the other hand is not common to see the juries giving more than 260 points, so hopefully this year the televote winner will be the overall winner again

I don't think you understand what the song is about. Croatia's song is about the guy (baby lasagna) leaving his village and his farm to live a different life. He sings about how he sold his cow to get money and says meow to his cat because he will miss it, that's why he wants it to meow back to know if the cat understands what's happening and says goodbye.
