Maaaaaan. I have to disagree with you there Nate when you say "I don't even think Greg knows yet how life changing that win could be." I personally was Greg Barsby's cady back in 2011 and spent a lot of time with him over the course of that world torment in Monterrey. That was six years ago now and what he told me at that time has really stuck with me.
He told me that in order to truly be recognized in this sport, you need a world title. This is mandatory; otherwise your just another pro disc golfer. This world title means EVERYTHING for Greg and don't anyone forget it! I have been brought to tears thought the coverage of this tourney and I honestly could not be more excited for the years of golf to come!
alphazuma This just makes Anton's life story even more tragic... 4 second place finishes & a drastically more tragic life than any other PDGA world champ... Maybe just one win could have changed his story forever... 😕

Gregg Barsby taught me how to throw, at a clinic, on my very first day playing disc golf 3 months ago. I’m so happy for him!
Gregg is such a great ambassador of the sport. He's clearly worked so hard over the years and deserves this moment. This year was so stacked with talent, I honestly didn't have a favorite to run away with it.
I cant wait for a Barsby Eagle!!!

Big Sexy rocked the commentary. You two work so well together. I don't know what Nate or someone said to Big Jerm, but he really behaved this week and did his best commentary ever. You guys really have the routine down, almost never stepping on one another. Very cohesive. No ESPN announcers, who get paid the big bucks, could have done a better job than you two. Thank you for putting in the extra time and effort.

Ideally we would marry the best of the live coverage from yesterday with this coverage today. Clearly, the future is live because nothing captures the pressure and sense of occasion better. They even broke off yesterday to show McBeth and Matty O play 18, which was very dramatic and worthwhile. It was almost a bit like watching a major ball golf tournament and I mean that in a good way. However, Jomez and others provide very high production values on delayed coverage. We also get Jerm and Nate, who are very good indeed with the caveat that they already know the result when commentating. I would much rather hear, at least for these biggest of tournaments, the commentators react genuinely to the drama around them as that is a show in itself. I still dig having current or former players being part of the commentating team as they do add a unique perspective. I realize part of the limitations on this wish list have to do with money, but it's worth looking into the future as the sport hopefully grows. Thanks for the coverage.

SO HAPPY FOR GREGG! He is awesome... ALWAYS been a fan since my friends first introduced me to disc like 6 years ago. He's got a great personality but MAN his disc golf game is looking amazing. Such a great forehand player, yet his backhand goes insanely far as well. Well rounded player, well deserved win!

What a fantastic finish! ALL these players played amazing rounds. That McBeth came back and was there to take it again should tell all of us its not time to count Paul out. THANK you Big Jerm for that pro move at the end where you did NOT spoil who the FPO winner is. I already know but since the winner of the MPO was announced before I saw this frustrated me a bit. Even though, this was really exciting.

I just re-watched this, and it is just the best. Endless clutch putts, people playing with evident emotion, the players on this card are all really well liked, wonderful commentary... I think that, if you're trying to get someone hooked on watching disc golf footage, this would be a great place to start.

A really strong last 9 by Barsby! After seeing McBeth closing the gap to only 1 stroke on the front 9 I had my money on the Beast. But I'm really happy to see Barsby pull through and finally win it! It could not have been easy to keep you nerves in check with so many players charging from behind.

What an amazing tournament, battle, setting everything. I love how the disc golf community seems to be such a family. Guys like Ricky and Paul gunning to repeat but still genuinely happy for Barsby to win it. I love seeing disc golf on sportscenter and other platforms but the way that it's captured, commentated, and presented by passionate people like Jomez, Nate and Jerm, Alyssa Vanlanen, and everyone else... It's perfect the way it is. Keep doing what you do guys. Fantastic job.

WOW! WOW!! WOW!!! You know, a match like this is just begging for collaborative work between JoMez and the likes of CCDG and/or others to provide handed off lead & follow card coverage in the future. The sport is ripe for that kind of full presentation instead of viewers going back and forth, watching one card's full round and then the other's. Sure, the videos would be an hour+ long for each 9, but hey, PGA televised events are still longer than this would be. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for the awesome coverage all season long!
