Love the coverage.. but what's up with that moan at 20:06 lol. ... I can't stop laughing 😂😂
I have 3 guesses. 1: the commentator took a sip of water and swallowed way too much and gagged a little. 2: He had an intense shiver. 3: He saw a large insect and got startled
I love the professional coverage, stats, etc. You guys have ratcheted things up a notch with professional coverage. One of the details that is missing is distance of the drive or distance to the pin. I am sure that on some courses this is very tough. But on a lot of these holes there are key markers that you could use as reference points to say that tree is 400' from the tee box and that shot looks to be 20 feet past the tree which leaves him about 150 to go. This would give people more of a point of reference at how good these guys really are. It might take some pre-tournament scouting and a range finder - but that would really put you a big notch above the competition.

You need to understand that the Commentary is added after the round is finished during the Editing process

That's a great idea man, these videos are awesome and I'll watch either way but if they knew the distance on every shot that'd be sick
Also to add to a better quality viewing, their names first and last should be on the digital score card. The professional commentary is great but often they will use a name associated to the player that isnt disclosed leaving the viewer confused.

This is fun to watch but like Ball golf I would like to know how far away they are on their second shot. Especially on the long holes

Fastest growing sport in America for a reason with parks sprouting up all over. Also free to play and a great community sport. I bet you've never even tried it... if you did you'd most likely be hooked. Don't believe me... play 1 round with a few of your friends, I dare you.

Jamie Thomas is the absolute best commentator we have in disc golf. No question. Awesome comeback by McBeth. I love Ricky but that McBeth was killer, especially after altering his putting stance. Who on earth can do that and still be as competitive?!

This seems like a ripe opportunity for drone footage. Overhead shots that allow the disc paths to be easier seen could be interesting.

does it matter where you throw the disc as long as it lands in bound? like can i throw it across but its still ok if it lands in bounds?
Yes, as long as any piece of the disc comes to rest in bounds, you're safe. If your disc comes to rest OB, you take 1-stroke penalty, and your lie is positioned at the last place where the disc crossed the OB line.

It sucked me like a black hole of boredom and I began thinking...it would much more exciting with crocodiles in the bushes and water, wild snakes from trees. wolves chasing them from hole to hole. Maybe after 3 holes they get a headstart and then they 'release the hounds.' I will listen to tonight to help me sleep.

how are they putts if they dont have a putter...
Disc Golf borrows many equivocal or nearly-equivocal terms from Golf. Technically they're labeled as "Putt & Approach" discs, as they are essentially your putter and your wedges in Golf.
We use other terms like "Pin" and "Hole" as well. Even though they don't directly translate, it helps get the point across.

I've only ever played in WA State and our courses have hella trees and bushes, but when i watch these players play i wonder hows good they be if the didn't play on these wide open holes. "just throw it as hard as you can twice and drop it in the hole."

most likely trying to build suspense/interest....but who knows? It definitely feels like this is the awkward tweener years of disc golf coverage- where people are still feeling their way, testing out techniques, learning their respective roles and what have you.... there's going to be some growing pains, and there isn't much time, for once the ability to charge and or pay for services such as coverages becomes MORE streamlined and accessible it's gonna be dog eat dog...and crews are gonna be turning out vid's next day or better, trying to make them monies... IMO
