The Ghostbusters game was glitching out because apparently the game still registers buttonpresses while the text is loading, it just doesn't RESPOND immediately.
So while you were mashing the 1-key like a madman while the game was still loading its text, the game was all like "Oh okay, so you want to press the 1-button 200 times. Let me just process each of those buttonpresses separately while the text is still loading, then reload the text for every time you pressed."
The semen theory is very crucial actually, that's a good point.

Each Sperm would result in a different child completely, the fact that it was still Marty is a miracle for him.
Yeah, though, I suppose if it wasn't him he wouldn't be able to go back.... Or perhaps, if the sperm changed, it was still him but he didn't realise it. His memories should adjust to the new timeline, though with time travel I suppose he would also have his old ones.

Fun fact: The penguin you play as in Antarctic Adventure is Penta, who is the father of Pentarou, who went on to be playable in the Parodius series.
sad we live in a universe where there will definitely never be a Metal Gear/Parodius crossover (at least not a good one, with Konami as it is, although also they decided the pretend Parodius doesn't exist a long time ago)

Silly Joel, you can't explain time-travel. Or rather, there is never no explanation. BttF can be explained with a Self-fulfilling Prophecy theory; that Marty's conception (and sperm) were a direct result of him going back in time, requiring a constant loop of events that are predetermined to succeed because doing it that way was exactly what caused him to be born and go back to do it (ad nauseam). How? Where did it begin? Well, that's the time-travel magic of a self-contained event-bubble in time-space. Cross-eyed yet? Good.
I remember watching Pingu when I was a baby. I remember it was pretty well known in the US.
I remember Pengu. I think I remember watching it when I was like 3 or 4 back in like 2007. For some reason it always scared the living shit out of me, not sure why.

Some remarks:
- Most of the time you're actually emulating an MSX2 machine... not an MSX...
- Antarctic Aventure is not Kojima's first game. You're mixing it up with its sequel: Penguin Adventure.
- Like your MSX2 video: Cheese is a drawing program not a game :P
- FM Music Composer is a program for the Yamaha CX5M or other MSX machines with the SFG-01/05 module plugged in. That module contains an YM2151 FM chip and indeed MIDI.
- Green Beret is just bad compared to any other Konami MSX game. It was not written by the usual Japanese engineers though.
- The Hobbit is a tape game. You'll have to type the loading instruction in MSX-BASIC to load it :) (It is by no means related to an FM chip, this game is old and only uses the basic MSX capabilities.) It probably only runs properly on a simple MSX1 system. To load you probably have to type: BLOAD"CAS:",R. Oh, looks like you got some disk crack of the game. But as I said, it probably doesn't run properly on a more complex MSX2. The BAS file is a BASIC program that is probably the loader. Oh, hey, I see that in the end you finally try an MSX1 indeed :) Good!

The Eggerland series is really distant cousin to Kirby's Adventure. The main character and the girl you were always trying to save ended up being bosses in the early Kirbys.

The Hobbit: That moment when he goes East - East, but doesn't take the time to read the possible exits and flat-out refuses to go North (like the guide says) before waiting... 4 times in a row. And then, not understanding where he's gone wrong, shits on the game.It's a text adventure, it needs patience and you need to read everything carefully.Aside from that, the rest of the stream was hilarious.
"Back to the Balls" sounds like a good sequel.
