thanks for doing another Lodge-Grill video! i like all your cooking vids, but especially the sportsman grill vids. GREAT POST! (btw, you're right about the country style, they are cuts from the shoulder)

Thank you for that tip one of my lid lifters is exactly that type. Because I know that if you get the thing off when the cooking is done and the grate is still wet with grease you will not burn it off and have to season so often. Gas grills are the same way with cast iron grates. I will definitely be lifting mine off that way thank you

Hi Mr. B, boy those country style ribs look absolutely delicious. They are also a favorite of mine and I have usually baked them in the past, but I recently bought a stove top large grilling pan and will be trying this recipe out on the grill at some point. The squash is luscious and the peaches add the right balance of sweetness to the dish. I use barbecue sauce or WIshbone Catalina dressing with garlic, ginger, onion powder and sweet onions for the rub on the ribs. There is just so much tender meat on these type of "ribs" that are a family favorite. Please give Mrs. B my best-she is such a lovely person as are you-I would love to see her taste test the food on the channel more often and give her opinion. I just so enjoy watching your channel and your video's never disappoint-they are wonderful as are you. Thank you so very much for all that you do for your channel and I am so happy for you that your channel is growing. I pray that it will continue to steadily grow and be a consistent source of income for y'all as well as the fantastic creative outlet and enjoyment for all of your viewers.

I love my sports man grill ! Thank you mr backwoods . After watching a string of your vids with the grill i went and got me one. I absolutely love it ! I even plan to use it as a small fireplace when it gets a little bit cooler. Oh i use a 10in or 12 in lodge pan as a lid to slow the heat a bit it works absolutely like you would hope it would. Thank you again 😊

I just want to add that I love your theme music for the channel-it is so cheerful and country. By the way, are you going to be participating in any grilling/barbecue competitions with your buddies this year? And if so, will you record it?
My Dad just passed away at the age of 87 last Monday and was buried on Wednesday. In 6 months, I am going to be moving from my apartment where I have lived for the past 18 years back in with my mother at her house and into my childhood bedroom. It will save us both money and I will be able to be a support, encouragement and comfort to my mom who is 80 and very spry and active. Now I will be able to have a barbecue grill on the patio and be able to use some of your recipes and techniques on the grill and using cast iron. We are both looking forward to it. I can't wait to just be able to have a grilled charcoal rib eye steak with grilled corn and veggies on the side. Yummy!!

So sorry for your loss. It is something we all have to deal with at some point. Our parents are getting up in years also. I go on with life like it is my last day as a general rule because we never know how much is left. We will keep at this as long as we can and thanks for your viewership and wonderful comments.

How about a heavy wire hook to help handle the other end? Seeing that grill sizzle after you take up the ribs makes me smile.
Did you spend much time cooking on state park grills where aluminum foil was necessary to make a real grill out of them? That makes me smile to.

Unfortunately ,due to health reasons, I can no longer eat pork.. but man is my mouth watering right now. It used to be one of my favorite meats and I miss it dearly. Excellent job with the peaches, fruit on the grill seems to be underrated.
