  • Hey guys!
I have finally started uploading a video that is ALT-related again! :D
Days ago, I had the chance to interview two of my friends who also work as English teachers here in Japan. Erwin is an ALT under the JET Programme and Joma is a 2nd grade homeroom teacher for an International school in Chiba.
This will be a 3-part "mini series" and for the part one, our discussion zeroed in on Japan's current school situation under the pandemic and how we are coping up.
I hope this video was insightful and helpful to you guys.
Like and subscribe if you haven't yet.
    PART 2: • Life of a Non-Native E...
    PART 3: • Are Filipino Teachers ...
    Thank you for watching!
    xoxo

Thank you so much for the insights Ms. Candy, I’m currently a freshman studying Education major in English, I can’t help to be skepticism with regards of my course choice considering that I don’t know what’s it like to be a teacher in Japan but I do love the idea of teaching overseas specifically in Japan whereas my dream country.

Awaiting the part 2. Nice convo, can relate. I was an esl teacher in vietnam, then moved to a private "intnl school" in cambodia (strong emphasis on the quotation mark ng intnl school, lol). And now im a legit intnl school teacher in Africa. Japan is one of the places I'm considering in the future so I'm always watching out for yours and TMacs videos. Cheers.

I miss your videos, Ms. Candy!
Videos like these are really helpful.
I just want to say thank you for inspiring me, I've been watching your Japan/ALT vlogs since 2017, I think. Back then I was just in Senior high school. Now, I'm in my 3rd year of college taking Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English. Due to the pandemic, classes are in an online setup and it's really hard and sometimes I get unmotivated but I'll just think of my dream, to be like you, to be an ALT and a good teacher and I will be motivated again. Thank you, Ms. Candy! 😁
