talking about structures. in my games ive had mulan jungles dive towers at lvl 10 and survive 4 shots and still be half hp while ganking. Bow shot into ult and i was solo so i didnt have beads yet had to sit through all that under tower and while im fighting her and their solo shes eating tower shots and is fine, same goes for duo lane supp diving tower lvl 10 can take 4-5 before it becomes a problem. idk the towers either smack tf outta me or tickle everyone else

i love this patch
I only hate the 9.5 revert cuz it means now I have to relearn the game a bit. Whereas before there were plenty of gods I could play fast and loose with, now a lot of them get annihilated if I'm not careful. It's not the worst thing ever, but it's gonna take a period of adjustment.
Well if you are comfortable on a lot of gods and can play them that way already then it sounds like if you’re landing more abilities than they are on you then you probably are gonna kill people before it matters too much
Same feeling but also playing a god that has delayed damage early sucks ass. Feels like I die while deploying kuku 3, tsuku 2 etc. Makes me a bit jealous of players that play more instant damage gods. Late games however do feel better so far.
@@FireGamingUltima Problem I've been running into is that it can be hard actually reaching late game. Everybody surrenders at ten now. It's like, with the current balance, everyone has decided that it's better to surrender as soon as you can and hope you're the one steamrolling next game.

Once you get used to it you'll appreciate the revert. Now we actually have kill potential so ppl can't get away with making bad plays

Lot of stats. Health on items is more valuable than it was earlier. Its good but a little overrated imo.
Whats with arthur not having attack speed like is there an actual reason for it?
He would be able to use his autos to move across the map at high speeds. Since his autos physically move his character a decent distance. So instead if you build atk spd on him it helps his passive bar build quicker

This patch is fire, good players are rewarded bad ones are punished...
Issue is when the only good player in the team is you the punishment seems to outweigh the reward even more so now lol, i feel like they should've done a rank reset as well because its so clear now that so many players didn't belong in a certain rank and some of us will have to suffer the results of this migration..

Have you cooked on Mulan yet? I know people don't like her that much cause she has weak team play but I feel like with 9.5 being reverted. The fact she's just a threat to enemy backliners is enough for to be up there.
I think it's unfortunate that the revert shows how much of a divide there is between the casual and competitive Smite player bases. Some people want to play Smite like it's a PvE game and no one cares who wins, some want to play it like it's a competitive moba (shocker) and win through being more skilled than their opponents.
It's going from skill issue to complete delusion.

Yeah, they have to think who they want to 1 shot. The complete opposite is true the fights are just instantly over, there isn't time to think, you 1 shot or you get 1 shot. Before you had to actually think, the fights lasted long enough that you had several chances to outplay or outsmart the enemy, now they just evaporate or your screen turns grey and you didn't even see what hit you. It's trash. Before I could 1 vs 5 for minutes, now there is no point in building defense.

I just found a different build, i'll just build tank on every god every role, i'm still almost as tanky but do even more damage. Not my problem, i'm not starting with 700 health. If hirez allows me to destroy squishies with 0 power then that's what i'll do till they figure it out.

Ive complained a lot about this patch and when I do people say you suck and adapt. Ive hard carried e ery game and allready adapted before the patch even was released because Im more used to the old state pre 9.5 because after 9.5 smite have felt weird. My arguments still stands, this patch is nice and how smite should be, but we butchered a whole ton of the god pool
I never understood the hate for 9.5. i remember wishing time to kill would be increased. Hated the meta being build to one shot and get one shot, felt much less skill expeessive. And i never felt issues killing worse players post patch

"Its gonna weed out the bad players" so you think the solution to a fragmented player base across multiple game modes, calling Smite 1 dead as soon as Smite 2 gets annouced, and then doing a revert that doesnt account for all the items that were balanced for post 9.5 and all the god buff/debuffed post 9.5 and its my fault?

Yeah everything is you being bad. What happened post 9.5 was more nerfs to dmg and ways for people to come back. If he was still alive after the 2 shots he wasn't 2 shoted. An mmorpg isn't to be compared to a moba. Mobas are competitive by design and Hirez should have never tried to pander to the casual players, who don't even properly interact with the game.

Unfortunately its turly not 9.5. No hybrid items like shifters and cad shield. No damage on items. Yes I'm having more fun. Still having top damage every game. But this isn't fully 100% 9.5. Hi Rez gave adcs a little love by not letting us big D solos take full control again.
Revert sucks, i'm not playing till they rerevert. It's trash, you either 1 shot or get 1 shot. If that's what people like they should go play call of duty, this is supposed to be a moba.
You got used to w key people and survive, now you get punished for your poor positionning, your non existant ability to juke, etc. You can't complain because you are getting 1 shot because you just w key people.
Almost no other moba is a tickle fest like smite before the update. This is a game where you now need actual skill expression

League and dota have the same ttk as smite does with the revert. It’s how every moba operates. It’s about positioning and actually using your movement to avoid abilities.

Not who presses the button first simulator. Nothing feels earned, people just dying to nuwas 1 isn't right. What incentive do I have to rotate? The fights are over before I can even start rotating. Why would I tank or dive for my team when 1 Phoenix shot takes all my health? All these things just mean it's now a sit under tower all game because the second anyone steps out you just get blinked on. It's terrible. League sucks and dota is the same as league.
