- John Wick Chapter 2 continues the retired assassin's adventures picking up just four days after the last movie. It's got sins, for sure, but yeah... it's still pretty fun.
Thursday: More ridiculous action, only a bit older.
Remember, no movie is without sin! Which movie's sins should we expose next?!

You added a sin for John shooting Santino's sister to make sure she's dead. He wasn't making sure she was dead, he was showing Santino he did the job otherwise it would of just looked like a suicide..
Half this video is reaching far enough to dislocate a shoulder or assumptions that don't hold true in the movie's universe.
alksdjf;alsdjf they're just for fun.....I say reach away.
Wouldn't the slit wrists sorta give away the suicide, though?
+TheLonesomeChef The gaping hole in the side of her head would say otherwise.
Right, but the slits would still be there. How would that look to Santino? Did John slit her wrists AND shoot her in the head after he undressed her and got her in the pool. Doesn't make sense.

I see CinemaSins has never been to Applebees.
They definitely don’t want to.
I would have taken a SIN off for that line delivery 😃👍👍
You forgot "It's Christmas!"
actually he shot her in the head to prove he was there and fulfilled the marker
Just gave ur comment it's 200th like🐸😂
Woodworking and Epoxy 300th like
well at least he admitted at the beginning he is an asshole
that's a much cooler idea
Yeah cuz HE had to do it if she committed suicide he wouldn’t have done it
That actually was Keanu Reeves in that scene. He does his own stunts in this movie.
Yep. He even trained pretty damn hard in jiujitsu for the making of this and the first John Wick. He was spending 40 hours a week training BJJ, driving skills, gun skills, (he's actually great with a gun IRL) and other stuff for these movies. I can't speak for the other martial arts but his Jiujitsu and Judo looked pretty nice. They modified some of the techniques to look good on film (cause BJJ is kind of boring looking IRL) but it was still awesome.
PrimoOutlaw nope.. in interview, he said stunt was performed by stunt guy.. he performed fight scenes for 95% of the times..
paWANgbuaya1 jep, you're right thanks for pointing this out :))
He's scary good with a gun. Watch him do some three-gun stuff. It's actually pretty intimidating.

You don't know that
you ok man?
You sir deserve a sin for sinning someone for saying "Good dog"
"The gold coins are more of an ID than money" the director said
Then why have so many of the same?
They're apart of an organization. Lets them know that they're one of them.
Then why isn't it a badge? So the identity is commoditized and you can run out of affiliation? Also, what does the Continental do with them? I presume they're for each successful job. I guess having any coins denotes you are at least a successful assassin, if you are able to make coins when you're using them for Continental services.
I agree the director said that, but in the last movie he had to pay a certain number of coins to get rid of the bodies in hi house. They should have just had him pay at the front desk of the hotel and then give him a tacky orange plastic bracelet like a Cancun all inclusive.
That is such a garbage non-explanation. The director should be ashamed of himself.
the burying weapons thing is John's symbolic way of "burying Baba Yaga", he's not hiding from police. But some idiot always comes, pisses him off, and pulls him back into killing mode. *he just wants to be left alone* :(
He must not seen the first one. All the cops in the area know who John is and what he does. They leave him alone.
Träfälgär LäwTM you guess make these comments like they don't know lol

Agree. It has been established in the first movie, that in the John Wick movie universe, cops know about this secret assassin society, but they leave them alone. This Cinema Sins video wasn't up to bar.

The impossible task wasn’t killing her, it was coming out alive
Can you explain?
@@aar6538 the mission was impossible not because killing her would be impossible but it would be impossible leaving the area untouched or killed by the security or guards. If John wick wasn’t John wick he would of died in the catacombs

Ok it’s been 3 years and I’m rewatching this and one thing has always bothered me, he’s not a good boy for just eating, he’s just a good god damn boy. That just simply can’t be a sin
actually after john wastes the 7 rounds in his "a bullet for each million gun" he picks up a gun that does actually hold around 20 bullets irl
If it's a Glock 17 which I think because it's a very common security gun since it's so small but still very strong the standart magazine holds 17 bullets and since these security guards are fcking mafia security i assume they probaply have a extended mag or someshit who knows
@@tobin.4908 it's a Glock 34 and tends to hold 25 rounds per mag, I believe (pretty sure Taran said it was 34's used by silvio's henchmen)
@@connorsherrington7863 a Glock 34 is basically a Glock 17 with longer barrel but the caliber doesnt change so for it to Hold 33 rounds the Magazine would Stick outof the handle which it doesnt as you can see in the scenes either the scene is unrealistic or its a magic magazine with super tiny bullets haha
@@tobin.4908 he shot 20-21 times before picking up another gun. i dont know where you got 33 from.
@@wildwilco i have no idea looking back at it but my point about the magazine sticking outof the handle is still valid with 21 rounds ( i counted 25-26 in the scene btw)
He buries his weapons with cement not because he’s afraid of people finding them, but because it will make him really consider what he’s doing if he decides to us them. Having to break through your floor with a sledge hammer before returning to the life you left behind is a pretty good way to make sure you think things through
I love this die hard fan
and to give closure that he has done what he wanted he has taken revenge and now he can rest but
Absolutely. Also a metaphor of someone literally trying to bury their past but they can't. I suppose putting it into a coffin would be too on the nose and was already done in Terminator 3
Such obvious stuff.. These idiots are just nitpicky jerks.
When his house was blown up the guys intent was not to kill john wick, but instead to punish him and send a message
Well he can kill him because he didn't obey the marker rule

since we're nitpicky about little details here at cinemasins, let me help out
at 13:15 you say he fires too many shots, however, the gun he comes into the building with is a 1911, which fires .45 and has a magazine of a much smaller capacity than that of a glock magazine
the gun he picks up off of the guard guy is a glock. the standard glock magazine carries 17 rounds, plus one in the chamber. if you count more carefully, with even the henchman's single shot included, the gun is only shown firing exactly 18 times before the slide locks back and he runs out of ammo and steals a new gun
;)
Felicia Foxx never let a man who don't know about mag capacity sinning the movie... i know this movie had a lot of sin but cmon... really??? that endless mag joke is lame
Must be new here.
glad someone said it. the director, stunt coordinators and whole production crew spent much time making sure the bullet count was accurate at a per gun basis. All of the stunt coordination Keanu did he practiced with blanks and or live ammo. crazy the amount of work that was put into these two films. just glad we have an american action series worth being excited over.
Pretty much what I was about to write. But Cinema Sins is not known for accuracy on these things...
Felicia Foxx welcome to cinema sins lol good point

Those aren’t just “some gold coins” those are the special gold coins he uses to stay at continentals, have access to weapons/suits, & medical care. The special underworld currency
Everyone mad over 7 bullet scene, no one gonna talk about how james completely misread the metaphor of john burying his past on 2:48
2:04 Actually they did, it went like this...
(cop pulls over car)
Cop: "Good morning, John."
John: "Good morning, Jimmy."
Jimmy: "Car trouble?"
John: "Car trouble."
Jimmy: "You, uhh, working again?"
John: "No, just sorting some stuff out."
Jimmy: "Ah well...I'll leave you to it then. Good-bye John."
John: "Good-bye, Jimmy."
Brandon Matthew they should have put it in the movie!
Spot on. XD
You do know there is more then one cop in New York right?
49mozzer that's probably why it was off-screen, cus it would be pretty boring seeing him get pulled over 60 times on his way home xD

14:24 - Er, no. She bled out from the chest injury she sustained. Her saying "Be seeing you" was like her saying, "I'll catch you in Hell."
VideoGameLova1 I feel like you would be those villains that leave the room and just assumes the hero is going to die by their mastermind death trap
VideoGameLova1 exactly it was obvious she died in that scene can't believe he actually missed that lol. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that scene showed her dying
...if she appears in John Wick 3, you'll be eating those words ;)
Joe Nameless Then you're over-assuming, considering that John stabbed Ares through her hand in the area of her chest where her heart is located. She would quickly die from the lack of outer medical aid (Wick killed the rest of Santino's men stationed at the museum and general emergency vehicles would not be immediately arriving there) since it's clearly shown that she did not have the strength to even attempt halting the blood flow. There are some things that the villain should stick around to check for, but there are other things- such as this- that would be definite death for the protagonist, in which a literal miracle (or deus ex machina, as is often said here at CinemaSins) would have to take place for said protagonist to live through it.
Setting up an explosion site without checking to make sure the protagonist found an escape route or hidden hiding place? A good example of needing to return to the "room". Straight-up stabbing someone in the heart with no one else around to stop the bleeding? A good example of wasting time by returning to the "room".
sebastianwillows I'll be calling bullshit, actually, considering it's clear she did (or should have, if it turns out somehow that she's still alive) die from her wound. The head-lolling and blank eyes are very clear indicators of that.
The best was the director brought in Ruby Rose to push the "women are badass" shtick. Instead Keanu beats her ass without any effort and proves dressing like a man doesn't make you as capable as one.
Yea. I love this channel but half the points in this vid are because of lack of knowledge of the John wick universe. Like the gold coins? Come on
Aaaand the the other half is lack of Gun knowledge.
Exactly and i saw all other vids on both 2 movies all are bullshit. It's literally like this guy doesn't have any fucking knowledge of how John Wick movies work.
I think he played dumb on purpose and I hated it so much
Even playing dumb, the movie got a lot less sins than most others.
Something to keep in mind about the cars hitting John's legs... those were practical effects, a stuntman was actually hit with a car there, and his legs didn't break
also, if you watch frame by frame, you can see he manages to get his legs up before the car hits them
Oh man yes this is true!! I saw that in a BTS video about the stuntmen, and it is one of the few stunts Keanu doesn't do himself. I still wonder what the movie is telling us about Wick bein hit by cars tho. Feels like it's gotta be a reference to a myth or something because it is the one thing in the movies that seems to catch him off guard.
the director explained in one of the interviews that the police won't have any problems with these assassins like John as long as they don't fuck up with the cops, the cops and crime lords have a mutual understanding in the universe of the film.
True, they kinda visited that in the first movie
Still, the number of mass shootings he conducts in crowded night venues would be difficult to cover up. People have camera phones, it wouldn't take long for it to get around that this guy keeps travelling the world killing dozens of people in public.
TheRhinehart86 yes but, like eveeyone in this universe is an assassin or has some affiliation do i dont think its to hard to believe most cops and people wouldnt care to call it in
+Dope Nice profile picture, it reminds me of one of my favorite space rock compilations on youtube
I wish John Wick messed them up as well, so he would have the high chair, continental, assassins and the cops to kill in John Wick 3
After seeing how often the coins were used in the first movie, it is driving me f-cking nuts that CinemaSins is still lost on what they are used for... although they may be pointing out how flawed the coin system is. Just a single coin can be used for a full nights stay at a hotel, request for a body bag and entire clean up crew, or a "hey can you watch this person I have tied up here". 1 coin = 1 request. Favor Coins are what I've come to call them.
Not really flawed, the creators spoke about them and they are similar to what you call them. kinda like a bar tab but for the whole world.
those are Krugerrands basically gold coins that are an ounce each an worth the price of one ounce of gold. To be clear one ounce of gold right now is 1320 dollars, so every coin there is essentially 1300 dollars and is untraceable as it's sold per the price of gold, heck real criminals buy these because their easier than setting up bank accounts and you can have them on hand at any time to sell when fleeing the country. Basically every time he hands those out he give people 1300 bucks for doing something.
The coins are basically a way of saying ''I'm part of this secret assassin world".
actually they're called continental coins I think
Buy a drink for 1 coin even though you can eat a lot of stuff with it
I'm a fan of the channel, but still going to point out a few things.
John buried his guns and coins not because he is afraid of cops or criminal, in the last movie we already seen that cops are ok with him having dead ppl in his house, so why would he be sacred? The real reason for putting cement over it is a symbolic way of saying he is done with that assassin life.
When Santino said no one leaves then come back without repercussion, he isn't saying assassins are mad because of what John did in the first movie, he is saying now that John came back into their world, he cant just leave right after again, its already mentioned in the 1st movie that John had to do some impossible task to leave that life behind in the 1st place, naturally after coming back into it, ppl are not just gona let him leave again without paying the "price". And the price here is that this Santino is going to claim his right to the marker which he could not do before due to John being retired.
Santino fired 3 rockets into John's house not to kill him, but to let him know that he has no choice but to honor his marker, which is why he isn't going to check if John's dead afterward.
John stayed at the Continental, used their services, paid with gold coins, that pretty much means he is back into their world, all these services are off limit to ppl who are not part of their world. hether John like it or not he is out of retirement.
It has been stated that John has been retired for many years, so its not far of a stretch to say that he is out of touch with the latest gun models, plus he does not know what kind of stock the Roman Continental keep, so there's nothing wrong with John asking the gun guy for suggestions.
I'm not a gun expert, but I'm pretty sure there are hand guns that hold 21 shot such as the glock series, so when John took that gun and fired 21 times its possible.
Your last point is wrong yes glocks can hold up to 21 rounds but those with are extended mags and it's pretty obvious he wasn't using an extended mag
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
@@jefftenormen666 y’all think too much about a fictional movie
@@hibeautym yes I think alot about things you should try it
@jefftenormen1444 you can get 20 rounds of 9mm into a full sized gun w/o an extended magazine
He counts 17 rounds in John’s magazine, but a standard Glock 17 holds 17 rounds and many styles of handgun hold more. It’s not impossible yet. Plus, John Wick is very good at showing realistic amounts of ammo and reloading
plus one in the chamber for 18.
Seems pretty plausible to me.

well, 2023 now
He doesn't bury the guns because he's afraid of somebody finding out. He buries them for himself, so he won't take them out again unless it's something serious. It's symbolic to him wanting to leave that life behind.
So deep
John burying his gear in teh basement then covering it with cement is not out of fear of it being stolen or the cops (seriously, who would steal from this guy?!). It is a metaphor for him putting his past behind him. That it is in the basement is that even though the past is "buried" it is always with him and he can become that person again. When he digs it up, he is becoming his old self again.
How can you miss that?
Cinema Sins IGNORES anything that cant be made into a joke...it happens a lot. They CANT read in between the lines, no matter what, the movies would lose, at least, 50% of their nitpicked sins...

John isn't burying the guns because he thinks people will find them. He is burying them as a symbolic show that he is done with that life. He is literally burying the past.

Nathan Roberts And that's not a Mach 1 either.
VanderClick boss 429
He literally says in the first movie its a boss 429 and that its a 1970. No excuses for that one.
Nathan Roberts I'll add one to that, the fact that there are 20 round pistol magazines and that he could've picked up a new gun at the cut
And he added a sin for playing the guitar with a bow... a revolutionary style invented by Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin
Wick cementing his weapons back into the basement wasn't anything more than a symbol of him giving up the lifestyle of his own volition.
Yeah, I agree. Sort of like the 'burying the war axe' kind of thing.
Each coin is the equivalent of a favour, each coin allows access to services within the organisation such as weapons, armour, sanctuary and medical care. It's more identity than a currency
A lot of sins can get cut off Bcz of u not understanding what’s happening
2:27 Haven't you watched the movie? Those coins aren't just gold coins. Those are exclusively used by their organization. I'm sure you know that already. So I'm wondering why you still say that. Watch it again. It might help you understand or see what you missed.
2:35 and 2:48 John Wick is a smart guy, I think he wasn't cementing his weapons under the floor because of security, or police, or criminals. I think it was a metaphor of him, burying his assassin life when he got married. And then he tries to bury it again in the film after fucking up his enemies. Continuously trying to bury his assassin gear and so is his assassin life safe and not accessible to him. Away, hidden, and buried not from criminals or police but from himself.
4:03 it's not a house of an assassin. It was a house of a husband and wife. That's why it was made of glass and his weapons buried. It's not his base of operation. It's supposed to be a house for a family. Again, I thought you watched and understood the movie.
Anyway, this video is hilarious as always.
The point of this channel is to be an absolute asshole of a movie "reviewer", but that doesn't give them the excuse to glaze over all the important stuff in a movie/trilogy.

That gun is a full sized Glock, which can easily hold 20 rounds.
found magazines that hold 30 easy lol. Glocks are insane
Max S. That’s what i said
I also said that cinema sins really needs to learn more about firearms
Agreed, Xavier. 33 round mags are available.
Matt, yes, I know. I was just pointing out that there are 33 round magazines available. I live in California where our politicians a) don't respect the 2nd amendment and b) don't understand firearms, so we are limited to 10, which isn't even the standard Glock capacity. On a side note... this was a great movie. Actually one of the MOST realistic firearms action movies made. Reeves actually took proper 3-gun training to become familiar with operation of all of the weapons he used in the film. I really enjoyed it!
Playing the guitar with a bow is actually not all that uncommon, depending on what sound you want out of the guitar and the type of music being played.
I’m usually the kind of guy who’ll count up the mistakes from each movie but with John Wick I’m willing to let it go. The movies are absolutely amazing and I can watch them over and over again and still be blown away
My favorite part of the movie was when john wick killed that guy
The Piscis haha me too man, me too
The Piscis or that one part when he got hurt!
i liked very much when he fired that pistol, strongly believe it was the best part of the movie.
My favorite part was when john wick showed up
The Piscis Mine was the part with john wick in it.
Cinema sin messed up on the mirror fight scene. She actually died because he pulls out the knife. Wick even explains to the guy earlier that if he takes out the knife he'll die... so in a way he's actually doing to best f-you in the movie by just taking her stuff and ignoring her death therefore telling her that she was always beneath him in skill. Bad CinemaSiners bad.
Anthony Michilot thank you someone for noticing
Different knife... He most likely nailed the dude in the metro with a bayonet but he just stubbed her with whats looks like a carambit(?), still lots of blood loss but most likely she lived.
it was one of the shadow daggers in csgo
I have a carambit but its been a while since i saw the movie and was too bored to go back to check, either way you are right but the point is she most likely lived
also not the whole blade penetrated her
Just did a rewatch marathon of these movies, love them so much. Naturally had to come back and rewatch all the EWW for them, love these just as much!
You missed a sin in the mustang scene when he hits the first guy the windshield breaks but in the next scene its fine
When counting the bullets he fired 20/21 witch is completely possible (1 in the chamber 20 round mag)
@Johnny Dominguez A Glock 17 with an extended magazine
@Johnny Dominguez yeah he picked one up off a dead bad guy
@Johnny Dominguez Fair enough
@Johnny Dominguez Thats what it was, but in reality if you wanted to pretty much every large frame 9mm has a 17+ round magazine in the after market. You can even get 100 round drums.
Thank you, haha Jesus christ its isn't hard to find out that he was using an extended mag lmao if you didn't post this comment I was going to haha
14:00 you know some Glocks do have extended mags that holds 20 then +1 for 1 round chambered then you would have 21
IMORTALIZED 3D I’m pretty sure it holds 21 and then the one in the chamber 🤷♂️ I don’t know for sure
There are also cuts between those scenes, I think it’s safe to assume that he trades out guns or reloads a little more often than we see onscreen.
Idk if it’s me or what but the guy at cinemawins definitely knows more things about guns than this guy
Thank you for this info
I was going to say the same thing and you just helped me out
@@user-tv9gc2js2j The cinemasins guy is completely clueless. When it comes to guns and when it comes to actual movies.
Looks like to me, as someone who has seen only this video and not the actual movie, that it was a good thing he reburied his guns and coins. Sure, he could've bought a fire-proof gun safe, but after the fire he still has the things he buried if he goes to town with a sledgehammer on the floor again.
2:47 I'm pretty sure that this is meant to be him literally burrying his past
There should have been a Headshot bonus round. One sin for you not taking advantage of that. *Ding
But would that add or subtract sins? Considering Keanu did his own stunts and his shooting looks reasonable, that would likely be a win. Also shooting people in the head makes sense in a world where everyone has kevlar suits and you need them to die quickly.
I like that john wick shoots the lady in the bath to actually confirm that she is dead, he doesn't just assume that she's going to die and walk away
I like to think it was either a shoot to put her out of her misery, or to 'prove' he did it. either way
It was to prove he did it, that way the marker would be satisfied. No one is going to bypass the hole in the head to look at her wrists.
Actually he only did it to prove that he was there and show he did his job.
Also to prevent her from committing the sin of suicide
It's hilarious how many times cinemasins talks about John letting a character lives so they can return in a future movie, but they never do
9:28 This sin cracks me up because in the commentary, they talk about how the 'henchmen' are usually stunt dudes that get killed, get new makeup, wigs, facial hair etc. and then proceed back to the set where they will get killed again. So, yes, technically they are respawning.
The ending was so awesome Cinemasins skipped it
Thats because it wasnt sinfull. It was even worth taking a sin off... but they like their sins high, so they didnt.
This was a perfect sequel to the first movie can't wait for chapter 3
Ohhh, my God! Your 30 second rant on John Wick's endless gun magazine at 13.28 had me dying of laughter! Please don't change. Great videos. Big fan. 😂
The reason his leg isn't destroyed when the Taxi hits him because he lifts his leg as high as he can so that the foot would just hit the front of the car then having gravity take it away from there, pulling the rest of his body onto the car since he was also leaning into the car.
Should be minus one sin for the awesome one handed slide chamber check in the museum shootout!
I'm surprised you had no commentary of the ending where everyone in new York city is an assassin wanting to kill John
ikr that was a good part
you should watch the new movie😂
Were you even paying attention when John was called to the place to his membership being revoked (aka getting killed) and the receptionist says now and then everyone stops?did you pay attention
@@ZayanGL That was pretty impressive and it showed just how many assassins were there and how many could be needed if Wick decided to do a shootout upon being excommunicated.
I was thinking that too. Is New York just a large city of assassins? 😅
dude u guys are awesome love ur work
Does he know that the entire John wick trilogy takes place in a week in a half. If he did he wouldn’t have sinned John still mourning the loss of his wife
That sin in the beginning of Keanu Reeves not showing up till 1/4 through the filming is way off. He did almost all his own stunts in the movie. Trained for months and months in marksmanship, hand to hand combat, tactical fighting, jiu-jitsu and more. They said he did around 95% of the stunts by himself.
My only request is that in john wick 3 the dog plays a bigger role lol.
RPF Creates Plot twist, Keanu dies and the dog gets revenge.
that comment is fucking gold
DOG WICK, COMING TO CINEMAS 2018.
RPF Creates truth
The Best comment of the day :D
The pencil disappear joke killed my eyes
So, the reason the taxis can keep up is because most cabs are decommissioned police cars. In particular, old crown Victoria’s with the police intercepter package have an LT1 corvette engine in them. So, it’s plausible
4:37 he wasn’t trying to kill Wick, he still needed him to kill his sister. He was just showing him the repercussions of not honoring the marker.
I’m pretty sure 3 grenade launcher bullets to a house would kill you
@@dannytiger6619 For you or I, yes, a 3 rounds from a grenade launcher would kill us. But this is John Wick, and he clearly is not a mere human that needs to worry about punt grenades.
Cinemasins, learn about firearms !
*Consider this as a professional courtesy.*
We all want him to, but he's probably not going to. Hell, Hollywood makes a ton of action movies, and they still don't know jack shit about firearms.
This movie is one of the most realistic portrayals of guns ever. Let that sink in. That's kind of bad, mate. Then again, as someone who nitpicks guns, I guess it is pretty hypocritical of him to speak out of his ass.
@@ALee-if6ld I don't owe that sink anything, you let it in
A. le that’s what I like about this movie, they get guns right. If you look at 80’s action movies you rarely see the characters reload. John Wick doesn’t have unlimited ammo. Plus that Glock he used at the end had an extended magazine. 21 rounds for a full size glock is reasonable
The glock he used has a double stacked magazine. He still had one more bullet. Honestly the only sin I had an issue with lol.
@@stealthlikeluke7291 tbf we have no idea how many bullets the Hench had already fired
1:21 and 9:34 if you slow it down and zoom in on his legs he actually kind of throws his body onto the taxi cab moves his legs up with it and his body weight throws his legs up so that's why his legs aren't broken when he gets hit
There is a scene that was cut out of him being pulled over at the start in his trashed car, and the cop asked him, "You working again?" before letting him go.
On pace to be an epic trilogy
Couch Tomato Hell yeah
Planet of the apes reboot trilogy and lord of the rings did it first
Couch Tomato this is going to be the new transformers, but better
Couch Tomato on Pace to be a better Trilogy than Reeves' previous trilogy. Probably because John Wick is the Antithesis of The Matrix due to it featuring a super simple story rather than an overly complex one.
Oh hey! It's the couch tomatoe
In fairness to Wick stabbing Cassian and Ares and leaving them, there is a difference.
He stabs them both in the same place.
He tells Cassian that if he removes the blade, Cassian will bleed out. Wick then leaves the subway with the knife still embedded in Cassian's chest. Professional courtesy.
He shows no such professional courtesy to Ares, stabbing her in the same spot, and removing the knife himself. She is dead.
she is not, and ruby rose has been cast for the same role in john wick parabellum
In my defence, made the comment before that was announced. It makes no sense to me, but I'm not the director, so...
@@muninn9674 maybe she shows up for a "last time on john wick 2..."
@@cvspvr you really think they are gonna pay fucktons of cash to reshoot old scenes? its a waste. featuring her in the credits could mean they just ripped old footage but she was confirmed as a castmember so that isnt the case lol
@@muninn9674 To be fair how much could she possibly cost? I havent seen her on anything high profile really except Orange is the new black and as batgirl on tv.
For the leg sins, if you slow it down you see his front leg lift so it knocks the other leg in the air and prevents a leg break. Some stuntmen reviewed that stunt and said it’s realistic hence he’s able to continue fighting
7:44 I remember when I first watched this and I thought Cinema Sins will definitely point this out 😂
How dare you sin Baba Yaga
Crap On CZcams baba yaga a.k.a the bogeyman a.k.a John Wick a.k.a Keanu Reeves will come for him in chapter three. Might be a fun story, the bogeyman destroying the whole of cinema sins for roasting his movie
Fun fact baba yaga means old woman or witch in Russian
Parakeet Girl which I think is the same thing as a bogeyman. Sorry if I’m wrong
@@Numbuu i guess it could be interpreted as boogieman but i still find it kind of funny :P
Bruh Im russian and "baba yega" means Witch lol not Boogeyman
CinemaSins refers to a Ford Crown Vic as a Ford Taurus *ding*
As somebody who owns both, I was confused and disappointed as the two look nothing alike
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: you the real MVP
::: HammerStudiosGaming ::: and that "Mach One" is a Mustang Boss isn't it?
They were wrong on a loooot in this one. They were reaching so hard to find issues, and just went for humor instead of facts. For once, a Cinema Sin video actually re-enforced my love for a movie instead of ruining it for me, lol. To me, this video proves how damn good this movie was.
exactly what i tought, this movie is gold, and i think cinemasins, also tried to show that, i mean, they are doing their job, that's what they get paid for, but still pointed the good sides, and i think its really weird for them to remove sins, in this one we had 3. Man, the "most accurate desciption of the first movie, ever" i felt so stupid laughing at it for 3 minutes, anyway, GOLD, movie, can't wait for the 3rd
The most annoying part is he says that the taxi cabs are Ford Tauruses when we all know damn well they are *Crown Vics*
This video is so much more better than your first John wick movie video
Still doesn't make it a good video
0:58 he does his own stunts
He's got two stunt doubles in this movie (Jackson Spidell and Daniel Hargrave), likely for the car and stairs scenes but he does like 90% of the stunts himself.
Its true no insurance policy would cover keanu doing car stunts. His hair alone is priceless
Also a CROWN VIC would catch a 69 boss 302 with relative ease,
IKR
Keana actually did all the stunts...so ya...
Randy Patterson No he didn't. He admitted it on his Twitter Q/A.
I think he did all but the car, not sure though.
House Stark no, he's admitted that he hadn't done all of his own stunts in the past, but he did everything in both of these. The director is his ex-stunt double from the Matrix movies (which he only did some of his own stunts for). He went through SHIT TONS of training for these movies. I have no clue what Twitter you're referring to, but I've watched multiple interviews that he and the other cast members (and director) were part of, and in every one of them it's stated that he did not have a double for the Wick movies.
House Stark he didnt do the driving which was why you couldn't really see his face that much. Other than that, he did the rest
Was it him getting hit by cars also?
You can tell he nitpicked the shit outta this movie because it's so hard to find anything wrong with this absolute masterpiece.
CinemaSins does that to most movies. It's kind of assumed the nitpicking is so the video is longer and thus more likely to be picked up by CZcams's algorithm. Personally I feel that once CinemaSins' videos started to regularly get over 12-15 minutes long is when the quality of the sins started noticeably dropping.
You have missed the most obvious sin of all: John Wick isn't deaf after firing all these bullets without hearing protection, especially the ones fired in tunnels and concrete buildings. And Ares is mute, but not deaf? ALL OF THESE ASSASSINS WOULD BE DEAF BY NOW. And Sophia's dogs in Chapter 3 are deaf. Gunshots are 140 dB at least. 85 is enough to damage your ears.
he wanted him to survive the explosion so he would work for him. that's why he said see you again John. so he would not check the perimeter to see if he is alive if that is the plan.@5:00 or before idk
Sure..thats the way i make sure people survive..i blow up their house...
@@rogerjolly1358 Logic: 100
Cinema Sins doesn't know that the glock wick used in the museum holds 20 rounds plus one in the chamber. Ding.
Chief Dig Bick right ?
No actually, no Glock has a 20 round magazine. He uses a 17, 26, and 34, none of which hold 20. There are also no aftermarket magazines that hold exactly 20 rounds.
Puberttt:- actually ETS does magazines, 7, 9, 12, 16, 19, 20, 24 and 30 round capacity depending on calibre, retailing from $22 a pop.
Ding.
DARTHMOBIUS damn I’m definitely buying a couple then haha
Get them while you can :-D .Gov and the antigun nuts are trying to get them banned...
John speaks the most common language in action movies....
PLOT CONVINIENCE!
4:23 😂😂
im pretty sure the point of him cementing his guns into the floor is symbolic thing to say hes done its not about him being paranoid his legend is better protection than any gun so it was unlikely he'd ever need a defensible home either
No cops pull him...did you watch the first movie? they know who he is.
Not knowing what guns he wants.....from that I can bet these sinners have never been to a gun range. I want a shotgun, well what type? you do know new guns pop up like every day?
Blodørn well that's true but remember that John Wick had retired for 5 years so he might be a little bit behind on new weaponry. So what Wick want is the new "top of the line" weapons and he got the Taran Tactical stuffs(they also used Taran Tactical stuff because Taran actually train Keanu Reeves for the film)
John’s leg didn’t get slammed, if you lower the speed to .25, you will see that his leg that was supposed to be impacted kicks his left leg so that neither leg gets rammed. It’s pretty damn good choreography.
Doesn't seem like that's the case to me
2:22
HE'S STILL A GOOD BOY
I think John Wick is actually Neo, if Neo took the blue pill.
*Hits Blunt*
WOAH!!
Phil Michaels
That's an old meme, bruh.
Phil Michaels you stole this one
Phil Michaels Can't be, John Wick's world isn't tinged green.
@CinemaSins
Nope! He buries the guns and coins because he wants to get over his past and is trying desperately to l'bury' it and leave it behind; he's not trying to keep it from cops and robbers.
Also, John hardly seemed 'paranoid'. He general view was to let whoever wanted his head to come at him if they so wanted. He didn't give a f**k!
Also also, I don't think Santino intended to kill John, because he was in no way surprised when John came to see him later. His general idea was to destroy the comfort which allowed John to refuse his offer, so all he wanted was to destroy that and goad him into doing what he wanted.
Also also also, Santino's sister was desperately trying to stay alive???Wtf??!! She was in no way trying to do that!!! She knew she was a goner the moment she saw John, but like she said, she wanted to go out on 'her own terms'. She was there to take a bath, and she was going to do just that, John Wick or no John Wick. She was pretty cool and collected for someone who was 'desperately trying to stay alive'!!
Also also...you get the idea, right? Wick shot her because he was an assassin, and she was his mission, and one way or another, he was going to have to put his mark on the job. You get answer sheets to check as a professor, you have some student check the sheets for you, but you goddamn better put your signature on it!
Vivek Mohan that was my interpretation as well. Its not that he wants to hide them, its literally that he wants to bury that "life".
With that said, Ill sin the fact that he has another safe in a bank with more assassin stuff, whats the point of burying stuff then
You are 100% correct on all points. It was pretty obvious what it meant to literally "bury his past", lol. Also the cops know exactly what he is, and he doesn't worry about them.
If John wick wanted to get rid of everything why does he bury them all in his house?????
Ghostex 42 now that is a better sin, you could argue that he buries it in a place easily to get if he ever needs it again
I stop watching Cinema sin since they started to not even noticing the movie they are doing the video on. I'm fine with nitpicking and some just for fun sin (like the "no lap dance") but many times seem like they don't understand anything about the movie.
narrator clearly has yet to get over his first ever crush telling him that he aint the one for her and decides to project that pain onto a well made movie SIN
The fact that he said Ford Taurus instead of crown vic has me unnecessarily wound up lol
