You can use something like Zhiyun Smooth 5 … this gave them might be a bit too much unless you need to use it also with mirrorless camera… enjoy your new tools and happy birthday

Are the apps free or do they require a subscription? Also, I love all the features you mentioned for this, but now I'm torn between the Zhiyun Smooth 5, Crane M3, and the Moza Mini-P MAX 3 for my iPhone 13 Pro. Beyond the Moza not having a portrait mode setting could you provide any extra insight or differences between the three? For example, does one stabilize or have a better range of motion than the other? They seem quite similar
I would go with smooth 5… if you only need it for smartphone. Apps are free but StaCam advanced features have subscription

Very good video - thank you. I wasn't aware of the Moza gimbals until I was told about it yesterday, then I found your video. I was leaning towards a Crane M3, but checked this out anyway. The main reasons I lean to the M3 is that it can easily used with both smartphone (in my case an iPhone 14 Pro Max) or action cams (for me, DJI Action 3). But the things that I found less appealing about this Moza gimbal are the outdated controls with no screen or mode indicator, the need to remember weird double and triple presses on buttons to do stuff, the zoom control using slide buttons instead of a wheel (same as on the old OM3 DJI gimbals), and no optical zoom or lens changing. The Crane M3 does all of that - for more money, of course.

I’d say Hohem iSteady M6…. It is capable of handling action cameras as well

If you have Sony then the cable is included. It should be no problem to stabilize it

Those are 2 different gimbals which I cannot compare… if you primarily use smartphone then get Zhiyun…. It is much easier to Use it

Weebil is only for regular cameras, Moza is 3in1…. So it depends what you are looking for to use it with
Zdenka, using Aircross S with Smallrig cage works. Have you tried that cage with the mini p max?

I would like to buy a gimbal for my mirrorless smartphone. And have narrowed it down to 2 gimbal.
Zhiyun Crane M3 & Moza MiniP max.
My problem with zhiyun M3 is the lack of app support. Do you think the firmware update shall solve that problem.
And my problem with Moza is no portrait mode. As I will be shooting in portrait mode more often. Do you think the inception mode is stable enough.
Could you please tell me which would you recommend of the 2 gimbal.?

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately you’re right about both. there is one more new gimbal coming up from Moza. I’m supposed to get it any day, so wait for that review. also I have reviewed Feiyu tech SCORP mini which might be another option for you.

To be honest, this video is older so I don’t remember… one thing for sure if the portrait mode was not shown in the video then it is not available

More and more toys 😂 Zdenska do you think that with the improvements in smartphone cameras today in stabilization is enough or a kimball is still necessary ?
Even though the smart phones have great stabilization, you’re not going to get programmed, moves by hand, such as a vortex or emotion time lapse or perfect horizon while you walk … That is when you need the gimbal…
Among compact stabilizers, what would you recommend for Canon M6 Mark II, zhiyun crane m2s, Moza mini P Max or DJI Ronin-sc?
You might be surprised when I say none of these. There is one more coming up from Moza… I hope it has more compatibility

You are very welcome. Those two are completely different gimbals.. Moza is for also big cameras and DJI is only for smartphones… if you need a gimbal only for Smartphone, then go with DJI.

Haha! 😆I didn't know about this new version so that's a plus right there! I bought the original for a very good price less than a year ago and I am very happy with it. Moza does make some good products that doesn't get much attention on CZcams and other media sites compared to other gimbal manufacturers. Might depend on the amount of money available to promote ... I don't know.
Anyway, good to see you making a video about thsi one and giving a good picture of how it works and what's new compared to the previous version. 👍👍👍
You nailed it… yes, some of the products which are not so great, are pushed because of the money. Moza has smaller budget that is why it is not so talked about…. I wish it was the other way.

This is very difficult to answer that if I don’t know what you’re exactly doing. I would say follow online manual very carefully… there are many videos online where they show how to balance and gimbal so you can also try that
How good is the updated Moza Mini P Max? It’s going to be a great paper weight because it certainly doesn’t function well as a gimbal. My one doesn’t after 4 months of persevering with it.
