Folks tell me that $500 high end condo deals involve longer term lease. My guess is that a condo at this price would involve a one year lease based on the quality of the amenities.
It seems nobody ever uses the shared spaces.

Apartments are owned by one property management company or developer. You need to read more.

I used to live opposite. It's super well placed, but you should know that in this business office district almost nothing is open in the evenings and on weekends. Intolerable !!!
If you want the address, it's Near BTS Chong Nongsi Station
Sathorn district, the road is (tanon) Naradiwas (this is aboat 700m of station and carfour with (tanon) Sathorn
About 30 minutes walk and 2.3 Km to Silom Lumpigni park.
Have a Seven about 400m, makro 700m, KFC Sathorn 1.5 Km
If you want to stay in this place, you need a car or a moto cycle or have a good foot for walk.
I can't give you the gogole map point because this sensorizes the message.
You go with google map sat view on Chong Nogsi station
Then descend the Tanon Naradiwas, for 700m you will see two large round towers on the left. The condominium and the tower across the street, right side. Knights Bridge Prime Sathon

Utilities are paid separately to the condo juristic office which is the property management office.
So is it even possible to spend $2,200.00 per month on a condo in Thailand?
Yes absolutely. This is just the cheapest unit in a building. I also spend over $1k / month now as I like having a bigger place.

That would be for long term yes
You can stay less, but you loos caution
The Thai Technic are to not pay last mount and loost only 1 mount caution.
