The “take him out” comment for the Sergeant was intense. Then the main officer said “at what speeds” with confidence the Sergeant said “doesn’t matter what speeds TAKE HIM OUT”. This is one of the best chases I’ve ever scene.

Underrated comment. They were authoritative while showing empathy. Really gave the impression that the goal was to end things with as little violence as possible.
thankfully alot of police departments are training officers that only one officer on scene will yell their commands out to the suspect.
A lot of times you have a handful of officers all screaming different commands at suspects lol..
For example when one is yelling out “keep your hands up!! “
while another is yelling “drop your phone and keys” which most people will instinctively reach down to drop them rather then drop them from 7 feet in the air with their arms raised.

When the officer called out " I can't get my seat belt back on" my heart stopped. Going speeds of 107 mph dodging gunfire he spun out once already. This LEO fantastic defensive driver and maintained his composure thru it all.

My daughter was recently hit in the left front and it destroyed the first if the car that hit her and her car was badly damaged but NOTHING like the comparably sized car that hit her, like a newer Camry I think. Not as big, but not a compact car either. I did the repairs on my daughters car and realized how outrageously string the modern steel is. Incredible.

I usually watch ASP, this was so incredibly intense. Complete disregard for the law, disregard for anything at all. I am from Ohio, and this makes me proud of our (and every) underpaid officer who gets up in the morning like the rest of us, wishes their spouse and children a good day, and just goes to work not knowing how insane it might be. This whole chase was life and death…and no one let up. It’s a different breed, and it’s needed. Thank you 🙏🏻
Supervisor says "take him out", there are 2 troopers in the lead car and they have a long gun. Why are they not shooting back? @ 12:00 is the perfect time to take out the driver.
because that’s not how it works. shooting someone is very hard while you’re driving obviously, and the safer option was stop sticks. the officers deploying the sticks just sucked actual booty. first responding officer did everything right

There were several times speeds were slow enough way before the driving trooper stepped out and rattled off some shots. I have been a sharp shooter most of my life but never from a vehicle like this. There's one thing that could have gone TERRIBLY wrong though.
When the suspect stopped at the top of the overpass, dude... you just sent beaucoup 5.56 directly towards oncoming traffic with absolutely zero backstop. I've seen combat, I know it's his call to make in the heat of the moment. But all it takes is that one stray round to find a child in their car seat and the officer will have to live with that.

The main lead LEO was a BOSS! I kept screaming at the screen saying "return fire!" The second officer, when the dashcam switched from lead to secondary, got same dang good shots off. "blah blah didn't finish him blah blah" he did exactly what he was suppose to to help prevent more carnage and injured the driver just enough that he couldn't keep control of the vehicle and it stopped the chase so he could actually face charges in court. AND he has to live with his injuries for the rest of his life now as well. Mad props to all the officers involved in this chase and for keeping composures even after he shot at one of your own.

seems like a waste to try to pit a truck with a smaller vehicle, when there are quicker and easier ways to stop just about any vehicle. usually requires getting in front of the vehicle and using a device to drop cords to tangle around the axles. probably needs a specialized vehicle and you would probably want armor around the driver

Im from that area .born in Findlay, i left Ohio in 1989. Lots have changed since i lived in North Baltimore off l-75 on Needles rd . House is still there! ., Cops and hwy patrol here in Florida arent as nice as these troopers i guarantee it! They would have taken him out on l-75 miles back

The energizer bunny. I have seen many videos of cop cars trying to PIT full size pick up truck. It is very difficult the police car just bounces off the heavier pick up.
