I've been rocking my Find X3 Pro for a full week now, and can attest that it's absolutely amazing - this review is pretty much spot-on with all of the features; the screen is absolutely incredible - honestly, you have to see it in the flesh to appreciate how amazing it is. The camera is easily the best I've seen on a smartphone; for the first time, it really feels like I'm carrying around a proper digital camera and camcorder in one device as it's so good. The sound is impressive, but I wish there was a bit more bass and depth to it. It makes up for this with the perfectly balanced stereo speakers, though - and as it supports all of the latest sound standards, it's easy to connect to bluetooth devices. The only minor downside is the battery life. However, after a week of tweaking, I've found that the default power management settings aren't quite as aggressive as they should be. A few tweaks however and I've seen a good improvement while it's in standby (I've got it only losing 1% of battery life overnight compared to 8% before), but it will still chew through the battery fairly rapidly with the big 120Hz QHD screen on - and turning it to 60Hz and FHD does improve things, but you'll lose much of the stuff that makes the screen really pop. Hopefully Oppo can improve battery life with future updates, but the whopping 65w charger really does negate any battery woes as it charges so flippin' quickly!

Man all the specs are disappointing here, no super high brightness only 800 nitts auto mode, mediocre sound, ugly glossy body, no very good quality camera, display too much tall and too much narrow and curved, the shorter battery life ever and this is a major issue!! It costs 1200 euro, hahahahahahaha, when the real price of this crappy phone should be not over than 250 euro, lol!! It's sure that no one will buy this crap!!

Of the 3 also. What phones have local support or proper support or even availability in the country, probably oppo, samsung, apple, and in some places xaomi(alot less)
I wish I could purchase every oppo flagship every year or else my thirst won't be satisfied. They always bring something new to the table each year that stands out & is interesting.
They have excellent hardware tho, very durable but my problem is their OS. It’s like Samsung’s and iOS merge into one which is a bloatware fest. Wish they could put OxygenOs in there.
If you notice studio photo tests, Good Light and ISO 12233, Oppo Find X3 Pro is pushing ISO high to 300-400 in good lights, while pushing shutter down to 1/300 - 1/400. This is an issue that Oppo devs have to address. There is no logic in this. OnePlus 9 does ISO 160 and 1/100 sec in same conditions.
Perfect review of this phone ..I'm loving it . Previous I used pixel 6 pro and s21 ultra. But I'm loving this one with it's features. Battery is not fit heavy users like me. But phone is just amazing. I'm also using GCam 9.0 in this . Rocking 🔥.. need an update for battery optimization like Samsung or pixel😂
I think that's something very subjective, some prefer true to life colors but some prefer more process but punchy colors. So it's hard to say which is better than the others
If I am searching for a camera phone, I would ditch iPhone for this phone. Because I don't want to switch Android to iOS just for good camera function. This phones has superb camera.

Oppo Find X3 Pro does not feature IMX 789 as the primary camera, whereas OnePlus 9 Pro will feature IMX 789. OnePlus 9 Pro has a 2MP Monochrome Sensor, while Oppo Find X3 Pro doesn't. Adaptive refresh rate can lower down to 1Hz unlike Oppo Find X3 Pro (10Hz). OnePlus 9 Pros touch sampling rate is 360Hz where Oppo Find X3 Pros touch sampling rate is 240Hz. This year OnePlus 9 Pro is not exactly Oppo Find X3 Pro.
Where is this pricing coming from? In Europe the full price for a global version is 1150€. Chinese version costs 870€. And vanilla Find X3 (non pro) costs 690€ only, with the same camera setup, so this is a steal.

@@DM-td7tt battery life is good enough for a day. Depends on the usage. Charges really quick even with an 18w samsung charger. Cameras are great. Main camera is amazing + really good night mode. Wide camera really good quality 48mp sensor. Photos look good even at 10x zoom with the periscope cam. Video quality amazing, it has ultra steady mode and pro steady mode. With android 11 you get nightmode video also. Selfie camera takes good quality phots, it has 32mp. I could've gotten galaxy S20 ultra or iphone 11 pro max instead. But I think X2 PRO is the best phone of 2020.

Xperia 1 has average cameras In my opinion and bad selfie cam, tiny speakers(speakers matter for me a lot). I had oneplus 7 pro and 7T pro and they were amazing phones!!! I wish they will bring back the pop up selfie cam!!! For now I will stick to my X2 Pro, has crazy specs and color OS has great customization. Dunno about whats best in macro Brian , but i did see a vid with one of the galaxy models using focus assist up close , and it was very good , having said that , unless you have a specific use for macro , i really dont see it as a must have feature( but to each his own , i d rather have a headphone jack ) , i remember years ago checking out a bunch of my smart phones to see how much detail i could pick up on a coin , and i was pretty impressed with just how good they where , and imo they where comparable to many of the current macro cameras on the market today , but in my camera use i have rarely found macro to be something i used other than magnifying text on the odd occasion , as the old eyes are not what they used be. .

You should get a DSLR or a mirrorless camera instead. Mirrorless is the way to go if you prefer smaller form factor. Can't go wrong with a used Olympus OM-D or a Sony alpha. They go for very cheap these days. Just be sure which you want as those cameras usually don't share the same type of lens mounts (the sockets). Mirrorless are very lightweight and small enough for most people. If you're thinking of compact like GoPro, I doubt you'd be getting DSLR/mirrorless quality.
This phone is avaliable for 309 now and it has everything I want accept for front facing speakers. Is there another phone you would recommend with 120 refresh rate same size amoled screen and front facing speakers around the same price 9
got this phone and have no regrets. First time Ive moved away from samsung in a while. The samsung s21 ultra was going to cost me at least £200 more and it has the same hardware and worse charging. Better battery on the ultra but meh for how much I saved im ok losing 500 from the battery. Im one of these weirdos who is constantly trying to increase the battery life anyway so im getting about 17 hours per charge. If I go nuts with it we talking 7 hours but thats when I flip the max performance setting in the battery settings. Im still not 100% sure that one does. Any ideas? Does it overclock or stop it stepping down?
It isn't that expensive anymore. In my country, you can get this with almost same price as the base model samsung s21. Which is a good deal. Although I think s21 is still a great phone overall.. i can't really decide which to get

online the X2 Pro costs around 950-1500 usd, i dont see that it's so different than the x3 pro's current price. sure you're getting what youre paying for no doubt, but i'd rather have great battery life and 90 hz display. 40 mp ultrawide but lowering the price. makes sense all in all.
Oppo is crazy expensive and that's where realme comes into play. Competitively priced. You might get some downgrades but usually only the SoC. See realme GT Master and Master Explorer for example.
Any find x3 pro user here? Would like to clarify with other user is the total battery capacity is 4500mah or 3550 mah? Mines states 3550 but contacted OPPO store says it's 4500mah, confused..
Android have no reliable way of getting battery capacity info. All apps you're using including AccuBattery is only estimating based on the amount that get charged into the battery and the amount that is discharged. To have a decently accurate reading, you have to cycle the battery and charge it to 100 while having the app turned on.
@@MrCosmin94 contracts are for the weak... you saddle yourself with a $1200 contract and dilute yourself into thinking "its only 50-60 a month".... for 2 years! Stuck with the same device and if you drop it and it shatters.. well.. stuck you are! Buy a mid-range used flagship for a few hundred... it will do all you need and you'll save a ton of money. You can get a Samsung S10+ for like $275... what more do you need in a cell phone?

I prefer to buy a used phone for $400 -$500 and use it for many years. My S9+ served me well until a few months ago when I upgraded to a used mi10 ultra for $500. Honestly, besides the better camera, there isn't much my S9+ does much worse and I could have gotten by for another year or so with it.

Not better enough compared to my X2 pro to upgrade. Also I have 512gb, ceramic back and X5 optical zoom + looks better.

I think it keeps the cpu at high frequency. Or it ramps up quicker/uses the powerfull cores more often. You can download a cpu monitor app and see.

You didn't mention whether it was charged without the high refresh rate AND ultra HD resolution. So unless that's not the culprit...

buy flagship level mint-used minus a generation or 2... save major $$$$... haven't purchased a new phone in many many years!
You pay 50-60 monthly on contract with loads of data.
@@MrCosmin94 contracts are for the weak... you saddle yourself with a $1200 contract and dilute yourself into thinking "its only 50-60 a month".... for 2 years! Stuck with the same device and if you drop it and it shatters.. well.. stuck you are! Buy a mid-range used flagship for a few hundred... it will do all you need and you'll save a ton of money. You can get a Samsung S10+ for like $275... what more do you need in a cell phone?
@@pesto12601 I had S10+ when It came out from the first day now its too old. Cameras not as good as the oppo, exynos cpu. I don't drop my devices. And if you know you are stupid you get insurance for the phone. Contracts work well for me and for millions other in the civilised world.
@@MrCosmin94 well - if you are good spending $1400 for a $1000 phone on contract and ok being stuck in a system and a provider for 2+ years - good luck to you. I prefer to buy a used phone for $400 -$500 and use it for many years. My S9+ served me well until a few months ago when I upgraded to a used mi10 ultra for $500. Honestly, besides the better camera, there isn't much my S9+ does much worse and I could have gotten by for another year or so with it.

It Falls Short in thermals and Camera performance
nobody cares about fast charging if phone can't hold a day.
My X2 Pro does with no problem and has a smaller battery.
