Bowling for Dollars originally started as Duckpins and Dollars on WBAL TV in Baltimore where that version of Bowling is popular. Washington, DC had two versions of Bowling for Dollars, the first on WDCA Channel 20 hosted by Don Scott from either River Bowl in Bethesda or Bowl America in Fairfax, the second was on WTTG Channel 5 from River Bowl hosted by Johnny Holiday.

I can't find the episode..my sister and I were hitting each other and they got it on tape..it was with Verne Lundquist I think..we ate at I hop rightht before and I had blueberry pancakes..My stepdad wasn't a good bowler..lol think it was in 1978+79 How can I find it..been looking a few years ago but couldn't find it..It was in Fort Worth Texas..
