Can You Imagine having these two guys on one line ??? And maybe your top line is Gretzky , Lemieux and the street sweeper. Unbelievable when you think about the talent. And Of course you have Bobby Orr on Defense.
I believe Orr won the MVP of this Tournament. Imagine if he was healthy. Orr was the only guy i ever saw that could kill a 2 minute penalty by himself. I watched The Boston Bruins in 1970 and 1972, They should have won in 1971 also but the greatest Goalie I ever saw stopped them. I do understand that my opinion is debatable but who was better than Ken Dryden in Goal ??? I really do want your opinion. If you are in game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final , who do you want starting in Goal ??? Im taking Ken Dryden all day every day
The best Canadian team is all times/ Orr, Hull, Esposito, Lafleur, Clarke, P. Mahovlich, Perreault, Martin and many others ....oh my God ! High frequency ! I love that gays !
Hard to argue but what about the Gretzky , Lemieux combination ??? WOW , what amazing talent. I might have to put the Gretzky , Lemieux combination without even knowing who my 3rd guy is on that line even higher . Actually there is no doubt about it. There has never been a line better than a line with Gretzky and Lemieux on it . I have to search to see who the 3rd guy on that line was. Unbelievable
Very good tournament but the weakest team (Finland)...They learned pretty well because they match us now...Orr was fantastic on one leg and finish first scorer. My best goal is Orr against Czechoslovakia in final. He begin close to his goalie and all trough the defense of czek goalie , he scored a famous goal. I'm proud to saw him at his best and stay for me the GOAT far behind Gretzky and all the others...
Сопли вытры! Вспомни как СССР их сделал, на чемпионате мира 11-1, или Кубок Вызова- 6-0! Или 8-1?!? Всякое бывает, но Это Команда была Великой! Сравнить ее нельзя ни с кем!
@@Lava1964 I completely agree and so does every person who knows Hockey. I was Lucky to grow up in Boston. Bobby Orr could kill a 2 minute penalty by simply playing keep aways with the puck. Nobody could keep up with a Healthy Bobby Orr. he was the greatest Player that I ever saw. We have to remember that when these games were being played in 1976 , there were 2 guys that nobody had ever heard of yet by the names of Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux. The talent that came out of Canada will never ever be matched
Perrault and LaFleur together is magic.

Orr, Hull, and others were supposedly in their twilight, but look how they played: major factors for team success. awesome people.
My goodness, this isn't just an all-star team, this is an all-Hall of Famers team!
Orr's knees were killing him ...but he kept moving 😊

@@paulshaw372 yes ...agreed
...he could have my knees, if it would have extended his career 🏒🥅🎰
I'm 5 minutes in. Is Potvin on for all of the goals? Dude must have been +25 in that tournament.
Best Team Canada lineup
Gil Perreault underrated. What a player.
Gil was an absolute Superstar but unfortunately he never got to win a Cup. The Guy was an absolute Beast. these were great Hockey days

Thanks for this video. What a line up!
Just look at how little advertisement there is, for an international game! These days, the arena is wall to wall commercials.
Wow Greatest collection if hickey talent Ever?
Bobby Orr used Phil Esposito as a decoy , WTF and Potvin was an unbelievable defenseman. he never complained about playing with The Great Bobby Orr
What a stacked team. They were, however, missing Brad Park.
So you have either Bobby Orr, Denis Potvin, or Larry Robinson on the ice at all times?
Esposito was a scoring machine too and Bobby Hull was pretty good. OMG , what an amazing group of talent
Daryl Sittler was a an absolute beast
Sittler and McDonald really wanted to make this team
Nice to see 👀 Hull, & Orr together ❤ '72 dreams 😊💭🛶
Yeah the hall of fame team Canada
If it’s incomplete then it’s not all goals.
Still love it though!

It took me a while but I found one of those jerseys... very cool
The '76 Canada Cup, aka the men against boys tournament

Orr at 8:00
Giving Bobby Orr a lot of room to operate was generally not a good strategy.

Это была Великая команда, Все Звезды!
И самое Главное- Бобби Орр!
Потом все- травмы не дали Великому продолжать нас Восхищаться!
Поэтому против такого состава выступала СССР-2, фактически.
Funny how the rest of the world was wearing helmets except the Canadian players
