I am WRONG about this computer... TP805 Part 2

The TP805 video is finally here! This might (might!) be the only retro computing related video I upload for months, but it's definitely fun to watch (me constantly making wrong assumptions about this computer!).

I'm pretty sure that the relay on the cassette port is for motor control.
Many cassette recorders used to have a small jack socket next to the audio jacks that allowed you to turn off the cassette drive motor remotely. This was often used on hand-held microphones to allow the user to pause the recording via a switch on the microphone housing.
Microcomputers used this feature to pause the tape between loading or saving sections of programs.

I just Googled TP805 Chinese Computer and there's a link to technical info and a Manual for this family of computers .
